I don't write many reviews but I really am at a loss for words at just how incredible The Village Goldsmith team are. The front desk staff are absolutely delightful and made my entire experience such a positive and happy one. Their jewlers are unmatched artists and have an obvious love and attention to their craft. I really couldn't recommend them enough to anyone looking for a Canberra based jewler - they're so wonderful! Thank you again Village Goldsmith! You're all truly wonderful.

Needed to get my wedding ring resized. I had injured my ring finger 1 week out from my wedding and couldn't get my ring to fit and other jewellers said they couldn't do anything on such short notice. Went to village jewellers and the staff were fantastic, within 20 minutes they had the ring resized to fit and didn't even charge me, said to consider it a wedding present. Can't recommend them enough, absolutely incredible people!!
After seeing some posts online referring people to see Tony for custom work I came in with a rough sketch for an engagement ring and he helped take me through the initial design, giving me options for stone sizes and cuts (and explaining them to me), suggestions for improvements to the setting, and helping to guide the overall design to allow it to be durable and wearable. All the while he seemed happy to help make the best ring possible from my design within my budget, never trying to upsell or affect my choice when I went with the cheaper option. Once we had the initial design he sent it away to be 3d modelled and I was shown some renders of what the ring would look like and was able to make further revisions before finally confirming a design which was promptly created, much to the delight of my now wife. When we had to sort out the wedding rings we returned and had much the same experience, my wife's ring would need to be custom to fit against the engagement ring and despite the tight timeframes (we left it later then we should have) Tony made sure we were sorted in time for the wedding, using his extensive network of contacts to get the work done in time. Overall we couldn't be happier with the quality of the customer service and the work. Looking online at similar sizes, materials, and designs (though not bespoke) for rings I was surprised to find that we weren't even paying that much of a premium for the service and custom work. Tony and the team just seem to love helping people to find and maintain lovely jewellery, and I'll continue to sing their praises to anyone looking for jewellery or watches.
I highly recommend The Village Jewellers. I had to cancel my wedding band order from overseas due to delays and was stressing about finding another jeweller locally. I had been recommended to visit The Village Jewellers by a friend and was very impressed with the lovely customer service I received and really appreciated them fitting me in. I love my custom gold wedding band and the design is beautiful with my engagement ring. Thanks again :)
