first time at this store and i will not be returning .All of my new designer items ,vintage and gently worn winter items were refused the store had t-shirts ,short pants and other items that were not in season hanging up in the store for a pricey amount. I was told to have a seat on the chair but the chair was full of clothing items and no one ever removed the items so that i could sit down. I did not feel welcome and feel that the idividuals dont know or recognize quality clothing. not even the suede new $100. jacket from Mervyns dept. store.
We found an item we needed within ten minutes of visiting the Wardrobe Project. Both staff members were extremely friendly and attentive. I was on a mission to find one item for a wedding. I needed speed and accuracy and I was not disappointed by the Wardrobe Project staff. I had 6 options within minutes and was in a fitting room. Thanks so much!
Decent selection and fair prices on items compared to other vintage stores in the Bay Area. I especially love their accessories. Took off stars for shopping experience. 1) The space. It is so tiny. On a Saturday afternoon even just 10 people in there will feel packed. I’m claustrophobic and constantly dodging people just to get into a fitting room is irritating. I suggest implementing a limit on the number of people in there at a time if you don’t plan on expanding the space. It gets to a point where there’s so many people and so little space you kinda just want to leave. 2) There’s also an allergen in there that makes me sneeze anytime I spend more than 10 minutes inside. Not sure if ya'll can get that figured out. EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OWNER'S REPLY: It's a little odd you found it necessary to include in your reply to me that you've "never gotten that feedback before." What's the objective here, to invalidate someone's experience? You're getting it now, and that is what matters. And if you look you'll see another person mentioned the size of the space in their complaint so that was also incorrect. I understand you're trying to save yourselves from looking bad but you look worse when you trivialize a customer's experience.
Cute little second-hand shop with plenty of clothes and a good selection from the 90s and 00s. Prices are fair around $15-30 per article, with men and women’s styles. They host little pop-up events at the shop, including hosting indie designers from abroad. Check their IG page to learn about these events. Definitely worth a visit. Located in an area in Oakland great for walking as well.
Stumbled across this shop and fell in love. Scored this 80s jacket from Brasil and I’m obsessed. Can’t wait to see what else I find! Definitely worth checking out. Awesome selection!!
