Went on a Sunday night around 9:30 the place was definitely pretty empty, but we had a great time. The music was great and the bartender made my Skinny Margarita perf. What more could a girl ask for? Won a couple rounds of connect 4 and Jenga! Will be back.
I recently checked out this lounge spot, and overall it was a good experience with a few things to be aware of. Pros: • Plenty of space with lots of tables to sit at, plus VIP sections with bottle service and waitresses for those wanting a bougier vibe. • Multiple bars and a variety of games to play, which makes it a fun place to hang out with friends. • The sound system was solid and kept the energy up. • The outdoor patio and rooftop were definitely the highlight for me—great for fresh air Cons: • Service was noticeably slow. There weren’t enough bartenders on staff to handle the crowd for a day party. • The bathroom situation was rough by the evening—no toilet paper by 6:30 PM, clogged toilets, and paper towels piled up on the floor. • It gets really hot inside. The large fans helped a little, but without the outdoor patio to escape to, the heat would’ve been unbearable. Auto gratuity Overall: It’s a really nice spot with a fun setup and plenty of activities. I’d recommend it if you’re going with friends and don’t mind stepping outside for air breaks. Just be prepared for slow service and indoor heat
Brunch service was slow because they were a bit understaffed. Luckily, the manager was very accommodating and the food was amazing. I had the chicken and waffles and my friends had the French toast. We ordered several carafes of Bellinis and mimosas and enjoyed the music selection. Overall, we had a good time.
I went here with a friend, celebrating a birthday on a Friday night. They prebooked a VIP tent that was close to the stage. That evening, one of the DMV gogo bands was playing and they did an excellent job performing. The crowd was definitely rocking. The ambiance and decor has a fresh/fun feel to it. Our VIP tent was very spacious, held up to about twenty people with comfortable cushions and bottle service. Once the band started, the open area in front of the stage was packed with people vibing to the tunes. There's a back area with a bar, and it looks like you can also order food. One thing that I note needs improvement, especially during the busy late night hours is managing and staffing the bathroom. When I went in the bathroom, there was no toilet paper or soap. Thankfully, it was easy to see the supplies under the sink. So I was able to restock the stall, but customers shouldn't have to do that. Also, it was very clear that several people were smoking weed in the open space space. Sadly, my lungs and my allergies don't do well with smoke, so I couldn't stay as long as I wanted to.
3 out of 5 stars Celebrated a birthday at Throw Social DC with a VIP Interior Cabana. The vibe and music were great, but the service didn’t match the price point. We spent over $700 (before tax) for 7 guests, yet had to flag down staff to hit the food/drink minimum. Final bill confusion felt unprofessional after we clearly paid in full. The atmosphere is solid, but I wouldn’t return for a VIP experience unless the service improves.
