This place is so much fun and the workers are so nice and chill. Games are super engaging that i forgot abt my school work. Will definitely be coming back! This is a good place to release your stress and have fun with friends!
We loved the original- but this Tokyo version was a surprise. The theme is super cool, with the new claw games and games.. but it’s very cheap prizes and pinball should be included in the free play area. The ramen is a cool idea and nice options. We came to hang for the evening, but only stayed about 30-45 mins.
I give it two stars for the unique theme but only one star for feeling of being duped. The website is so unclear. Unlike their competitor (you know who) they do not have a soda fountain with free refills nor do they even state that on the website. Secondly I get having to pay for prize themed games but the only reason I wanted to come is to play pinball. Well scratch that you have to pay extra to play pinball. I was finally able to find by digging around the website that pinball has an extra cost Sadly I was only able to find it after paying admission. I’m currently still here making this review as I sit in the pay to play section. Listen a business can do as they please but not really being clear and concise on the website I wasted $11.49. There’s a reason this place is so dead on a weekend. However This place is awesome if you don’t know any better. So come at your own risk. However I absolutely will never be back. Just look how busy they are. 😆
This place was really cool. Crane machines, candycades, arcade machines and pinball, I did need to purchase a play card for the games. Decent beer selection.
With the oversaturation of arcades in the DFW area, Free Play Tokyo Station distinguishes itself by being an authentic slice of what you would find at a Japanese Arcade. Kudos for an original, well executed concept! Being to Japan on more than one occasion, I can say Tokyo Station is truly a gem for the DFW area featuring authentic Japanese Arcade staples like gatcha machines, UFO catchers, and of course an entire area dedicated to Arcade games all operating on real hardware! They have some very rare games too such as Magical Cat Adventure which I enjoyed playing through. If all of the fun gets you hungry, they also have imported Japanese drinks, snacks, and a build your own Ramen bar. I'm grateful for the innovation and passion brought in by Free Play. Thanks for all the fun!
