First time visiting Tonkotsu and will definitely be returning. The food was amazing and tastes very fresh and not greasy which I tend to avoid. Chef Jack was lovely and told us how the noodles are all handmade. Our waiter was equally lovely although didn’t grab his name, he was bald with a beard. He came across as very polite and look like he enjoyed his job and made the experience a good one.
Amazing food! I had chilli prawn ramen with added Tokyo pork, prawn gyoza, katsu prawns. Best pork I’ve ever eaten!! Also got 20% off the bill with blue light discount! Amazing service and food came out so quickly. Highly recommend.
We came here on a busy Saturday night but the table service was fantastic! Our waiter Tauras was fantastic! I’ve been sober a few years now and I love anywhere that go out of there way you fancy drinks to feel included, His lemonade with fresh lemons was incredible! And recommend the vegan pudding which was the best one out of the two! Thank you for making fresh lemonade when you were busy! The food was incredible and had a great time.
Ramen restaurant near dockside. Good selection of usual Ramen choices, tonkotsu, shoyu, cha sui, chicken, spicy, rice bowl, gyoza etc.. Ordered the lunch time special, Selected starters and small ramen bowl for £10. Drinks are extra. Decent value, broth was a little weak and diced chicken bits but that's the lunchtime deal I guess. Service was good. Ok meal but think I'd try the regular menu next time. Service charge included, which loses a star for me.
Very well run restaurant. Atmosphere was bustling, get here early as gets super busy! Staff are super friendly, welcoming and professional. Food came quickly and was phenomenal - crispy chicken karage, perfectly done gyozas and the most nourishing and delish bowl of ramen. Their drinks menu is great to- lots of fab no and low options for us! Very impressed, turn around was really quick!
