I genuinely can’t recommend this place enough!! Kenny is the greatest, sweetest axe throwing instructor. He is the embodiment of patience. I must’ve stayed for 3 hours AT LEAST, and I loved every second of it. I would recommend Kenny and Nate to anyone in St Louis, or passing through. If you visit St Louis without stopping at Top Notch, you did St. Louis wrong.
We had a wonderful time. Kenny was very helpful with tips and pointers on how to throw the axes and was accommodating to our group. We will definitely back next time we are in St. Louis.
We went here for my daughter’s 25th birthday. A great time for all ages. Kenny helped us with our technique and took great photos of us at the end.
Wish I could give more than 5 stars! We had an excellent time at Top Notch!!! The atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming, but what truly made the experience outstanding was the manager, Kenny! From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, confident, and having a great time. Kenny gave clear, friendly instructions that made even first-timers feel like pros. He was incredibly patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone enjoyed themselves. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his professionalism really elevates the whole experience. If you’re thinking about trying axe throwing, this is the place to go — and if you’re lucky enough to have Kenny guiding you, you’re guaranteed an amazing time. Highly recommend!
I had a great time at top-notch axe. Kenny was great at showing us axe throwing techniques. The music was great and added to the atmosphere. He included some games which made it more interesting. He offered to take photos of us at the end. Great service!!
