Had a roof replacement completed. They did a great job. Bobby and Shawn both kept me in the loop and provided updates throughout. They arrived on time, came prepared, and ready to start. Bobby was great with answering my questions which gave me clarity on process given the fact I had not had this type of work completed prior. We used Top Tier Roofing to replace our roof. We called on a Wednesday and had our roof replaced by Monday. They could sense our urgency for our repair and they made a way to do the job quickly. Compared to other companies the cost was very reasonable.
After a terrible experience with another roofer (welcome to look at my other reviews), Top Tier Roofing was a complete turnaround. Maureen, Bobby, and Sean responded quickly to my follow-up, reviewed my situation, and saved me nearly $20,000 by identifying that the prior contractor’s proposed work was unnecessary. They fit me into their schedule the same week, secured the required Philadelphia permit the same day, and walked me through every step clearly. Communication was excellent — honest, direct, and respectful throughout. Bobby told me there was no expectation to pay until the job was done and they lived up to that promise. The crew was courteous, professional, and efficient, and the finished roof looks fantastic. While I hope not to need another roofing job anytime soon, I’d gladly work with Top Tier Roofing again and recommend them without hesitation.
they say, “when it rains, it pours.” last month’s heavy rain exposed even more problems in my “renovated” home. after only 4 years in, I had to fully replace the roof. I hated having to do this and glad top tier did their best to not pile on. top tier was thoroughly communicative from the initial quote* to the completion of the project. I appreciated the consideration taken to avoid any potential additional water damage by rescheduling around bad weather forecast. It was also super helpful to receive photo updates at every stage of the work. with appreciation, I hope to never see y’all again 🫶🏿* the price was the price. other contractors quoted me 1/2 for 1/8 of the work. I did what the sellers should have done 😒 *edit - I just read the fine print that states that I have to have the roof serviced every 3 years or the 15 year guarantee will be void.
My roof has had issues with ponding water due to an incorrect pitch, and after it recently developed a leak I wanted to correct the underlying issue. I spoke to a number of roofers who only wanted to put another layer on top of the existing roof, but Top Tier wanted to actually fix the problem. They proposed removing the existing roof where it was leaking, installing tapered insulation, adding a second drain to affected area, and then installing new granulated torch down over the entire roof. Additionally, I decided to have the siding on that wall replaced to eliminate all potential sources of water getting into the house. From the start Sean was on top of the entire process. He showed up on time, sent the estimate the next day, answered all of my questions, and had the job scheduled within a few weeks. The roofing crew was awesome – they got the job done quickly, cleaned everything up, and were respectful of the neighbors. When the siding crew came the following week they discovered significant damage to the framing and sheathing. I was concerned because of how bad some of the damage was but they came up with a plan and went straight to work getting everything repaired. The mark of a great contractor is how they deal with the unexpected once a job starts, and Top Tier went above and beyond. The new roof and siding look amazing and the quality of work is top notch. Pricing for the job was incredibly fair, especially with the additional framing and repairs. I can’t recommend Top Tier enough, if you need a new roof make sure to give them a call.
