David Ross… We had an exceptional day with David. He is so nice. He is so knowledgeable. He went beyond the extra mile to lead us to the site of our ancestral home. We walked over 6 miles that day and David led us every step of the way. He took some wonderful pictures of us and emailed them to us the same day. We wish we would’ve hired him for our entire stay in Scotland. Thank you David! We wish you all the best.

Today's tour with James was probably the best tour we've ever had. I'd give him a million star rating if it was an option. We had a limited time in port on our cruise today. James customized a private tour to suit our tastes within the few hours we had. We were able to see highlights of the area and we had a great time. We can't wait to return to Scotland to do multi-day tour with James someday. Highly recommend!

Planned a trip for my sister and daughter in Isles of Skye with Csaba. He was personable, attentive and easy going. To say he was flexible is an understatement and made sure we were able to see and do everything we wanted. We felt at ease and like he was a part of our group instantly. He's professional, funny and knows a great deal about anything we asked. A million times over will book with him again on our next travels to Scotland.

Can't beat a private tour. First time booking with ToursByLocals. Glad I found Matthew! Weeks before our arrival, we were back and forth selecting the best way to spend our day together for my family of 5 adults from Canada of Clan Cameron of Erracht heritage. Matthew was knowledgeable, funny and accommodating!! Shortly after meeting us, we had an excellent banter. We all laughed a lot. Despite a mix of sun and quite miserable wind, rain and hail, Matthew made our day touring the Inverness area perfect!!

If you want a tour guide who's extremely knowledgeable, accommodating, fun and looks good in a kilt - Ally is your man. An easy going gentleman with a great sense of humor. With years of experience, he'll show you how to beat the crowds and see all the great spots. Plus, his car is spotless and downright luxurious. The only downside was saying goodbye. Thank you, Ally!
