Learning and practicing the technique of Transcendental Meditation (TM) is one of the best things a person can do for themselves. Its value is infinite. If you are reading this, I highly encourage you to "take the plunge" and learn TM from Deboragh. She is an absolute gem! A wonderfully devoted teacher and a well-spring for the body of knowledge that surrounds TM. She offers ongoing guidance and group meditations beyond the initial course, which is a beautiful way to connect with other meditators and keep growing! Do yourself a huge favour - learn and enjoy TM!
Since starting TM practice 6 weeks ago, I have noticed that I am more able to retain calmness within and able to let things go without thinking, thinking, thinking! Being a soul seeker for five decades, I had never yet found any practice wherein I established a discipline or routine. I realize that this is the first time in my life that I’ve actually been consistent in a practice! It is effortless and you take it as it comes; that is the essence of being and finding equanimity. For me, TM is the glue that I needed to be able “to stick to it”. I look forward to my daily practice and I’m grateful for the ease and simplicity. Deboragh is an excellent guide and instructor. I highly recommend trying TM ☺️.
I found Deboragh's womens group sessions to be very impactful. Meditating together felt very inclusive and I espeically benefitted from the experience discussion after the session- this gave opportunity to learn about other womens experiences and how meditation is helping them. I highly suggest attending these group sessions!
If you're like me you have a full, busy life. And when you're getting pulled in multiple directions it can feel exhausting. I wasn't sure if meditating twice a day was realistic with a schedule like mine - wouldn't adding more 'things' to my schedule make my days more stressful instead of less? Turns out the answer is no. Meditating is a part of my daily rhythm. Instead of making me busier, it makes the 'busy' more manageable. Adding it to my life was simple with Deboragh’s thoughtful instruction and ongoing guidance. If you’re considering Transcendental Meditation, I recommend Deboragh and the TM program.
I have been enjoying a TM practice daily for 2 months. I find the commitment and discipline balanced with instruction to gently accept ourselves, our thoughts, and the process of evolving, at our own pace. I notice a greater sense of calm and stillness in myself. My instructor, Deboragh, is warm, dedicated, professional and available. The follow up keeps me motivated and allows opportunities to share experience with others, which I find inspiring. There are abundant resources available for deepening one's practice, many of which I have not found time to explore: live online meditations, workshops, retreats, and recorded talks. I have attended several of Deboragh's TM for Women group sessions, and appreciate the intimacy and connection I experience with the women. I have practiced other forms of meditation, and still find value in some of them, but TM has unique benefits which help me feel grounded and universally connected. I would recommend TM to anyone who seeks more peace, love and joy.
