Terrible Service — Not Event-Friendly The facility itself is decent, but the service is absolutely unacceptable. During a child’s birthday outing, staff refused to assist with putting up lane bumpers, telling me to do it myself. I explained to the attendant that I am a physician and that if I injured my hand, back, or leg performing staff duties, their establishment would not carry adequate liability to cover that. That concern was completely dismissed. The attitude was lazy and indifferent. We also asked for a lighter to light a child’s birthday cake. After a prolonged wait, we were handed a lighter that didn’t even work. No apology. No urgency. No effort to fix the situation. If you’re advertising birthday parties and family events, basic assistance should not be optional. This isn’t about special treatment — it’s about doing the bare minimum. Bottom line: decent bowling lanes, subpar to nonexistent service. I do not recommend this place for birthdays or any event where you expect help from staff. Bring your own help — or go elsewhere.
I don’t normally write reviews, but the waiter I had the other night calls for one. She was a young blonde girl with glasses that waited on me and my family when I was dining in the restaurant. Her service was phenomenal. She was very attentive and considerate. My family did not spend a second waiting for her. The building was packed and she still managed to handle it flawlessly. She gave us recommendations on the menu that we all enjoyed. She was friendly, kind, and made the restaurant feel like we were eating at home despite the busyness. I wish we would have caught her name because we will definitely be requesting her when we visit again. Good on you transit lanes for having a great staff. P.S. the food is to die for!!!t :)
Had our daughter’s birthday there. Was absolutely top notch in their service and the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The food and drink were exactly what we expected and Christy was on top of refilling everything. Everyone had a wonderful time and said how great the service was. Thank you again!
We had such a great experience at an event we had here! The service was excellent—Christy took INCREDIBLE care of us. The room was spotless and beautifully decorated with fall bouquets on each table, which added a warm touch. The food was delicious, and we were even able to get more on the fly. Highly recommend this place for events, and we’ll definitely be back!
We decided to go bowling on our children’s winter break. So we booked a lane for one hour on a Wednesday afternoon. The girl at the register said it would be $87 dollars. We were blown away by how pricey it was. But played our two games we fit within an hour. Mind you we took no breaks or relaxed just bowled to make the 1 hour time. Something didn’t seem right so I called the alley after the fact. Come to find out I was charged per game not for the hour. This should have been conveyed to me at the time of checkout. I called and spoke to Henry Poole who made everything right. He apologized and advised me that per game is more expensive than just the hour. It ended up being a $30+ difference. So here is some advice to anyone that’s not an experienced bowler pay for the hour get there before your time pick out a ball and get your shoes. I was a bit angry about the experience but Henry resolved that it. Bathrooms were clean.
