We have gone to Triad ECO Adventures several times for Segway riding. This time we did an E-bike nature trail tour. All of our adventures have been fun and worth the money. I would recommend this company to anyone. The tour guides are knowledgeable about the city and the history. Today David was great.
I found this place at random and so grateful I did. Staff is knowledgeable, warm and inviting. I asked and got a delightful local breakfast recommendation. Rented a manual bike. Staff gave easy directions to Greenway. Pedaled around Salem lake and back. Absolutely perfect weather and scenery. Bike handled like it was brand new. Gears shifted smooth, even when around times of applying torque. Bike felt sturdy and I felt safe. I bike a lot and have a sense of quality. Refreshing how much of a cut above my experience was. Until you kiss a few frogs.... likewise, until you rent a bike that hasn't been cared for. This place delivers on a good time.
We had the BEST experience with Triad Trolley and our driver, Randy, on our wedding day! He arrived right on time, drove us to our wedding venue smoothly, and took our guests back and forth from the hotel all night. He had a smile on his face the whole time and was glad to help us in any ways. Our guests LOVED the trolley and couldn’t say enough positive things about it! And the pictures with the trolley turned out SO elegantly. We are so glad we stumbled upon this business and used it for our wedding - it truly made so many logistics come together and we didn’t have to worry about a thing!
We gave an electric bike tour as a gift to some friends and didn't really know what to expect since it was our first time out. This experience was incredible and so much greater than we could have imagined. Fortunately our weather was perfection so it was such a pleasure riding around Winston-Salem on an e-bike! Our guide, Lynn, was helpful and patient teaching us how to operate the gears and use the throttle function. It was so great to use that when going up the notorious hills around the city! We stopped at the Quarry, in Old Salem and at other points along the way so Lynn could explain the next stretch ahead. We spent over 2 hours exploring the Greenway and could've gone even longer with the e-bike at our feet. We can't wait to go again!
We had an absolute blast on our Segway Tour! It was my first time ever riding one, and this tour really made me appreciate the vehicle AND provided so much information on both historic Salem and modern Winston. The team is helpful, friendly, and patient with new riders - so don't be nervous if it's your first time, too. Eventually you'll get your Segway Legs (Seg-Legs?), and it'll feel weird to walk on two feet again!
