This is an adorable little spot with so much character! I had a training near here, and I enjoyed my first lunch so much that I came back the next day. It’s full of little gifts you can grab for special occasions or just for someone you’re thinking of. I got the chicken salad sandwich both days and the Ezekiel bread was perfect both days. I would add that there is free pairing, but the lot is somewhat small imo.

Such a LOVELY shop! I had a delicious cup of the House Roast, and my group and I enjoyed shopping and chatting with Damon. He is a very kind and personable soul! I hope to make it back next time I’m in town.

I hate the even leave a review, the place was so beautiful and whimsical. We got there around 3 and the girl at the front told us that the kitchen was closed. Totally fine! We should have done more research! We asked how the tea was served and she told us “in fine china” and we got a few pastries. Finally the tea came out in plastic cups with lids. And the cookies and baked good came out in a to go box. We were so upset. We could have done that at home. We thought this was a cozy tea spot. When I asked the server what happened to the “fine china” she laughed and walked away.

3 stars Pros: - The food on the original tea experience menu was fabulous. I truly believe the chef is talented. - The tea menu is expansive and appears to be house made, or maybe locally sourced. - The vibes were fabulous. Small and quiet, I feel it does deserve the cottage label. - The little trickents for purchase around the cottage are on theme and local. The cons: - Service was severely lacking for my table. Examples are as follows: We had to ask for every piece of silverware. Legitimately we were given one fork and one knife for our entire table. This was not finger food. We were not told anything about how to pick out the tea despite us checking in at the front and being directed to our table. It took over 15 minutes for anyone to give us any direction. The direction was "Have you picked out your teas yet?" We explained that we hadn't been told to pick out tea nor given a list, and the response was "They're on the wall" (in the other room). I would've appreciated a polite acknowledgement of the mixup and more direction. When I reserved our table, I was asked about dietary concerns, which I gave. Despite both written and verbal confirmation (on the required phone call to schedule a reservation) the dietary concerns were not accomodated for in advance. The substitutions given, while a great attempt, were lacking. (A sandwich with only one topping, meat, was given in exchange of a quiche. There weren't any condiments on it. While the bread and meat were tasty, it still was a bummer given the notice I gave, and the rest of the table's menu.). Given the cost and how far in advance we reserved, I don't feel the service was appropriate. Aesthetics, immaculate. Service, subpar. I would love to see this unique venue blossom.

Delicious breakfast and lunch with High Garden teas and coffee options. Definitely going to come back soon. I ordered the seasonal coffee, peach please bacon grilled cheese with peach preserves and the breakfast bread pudding. Shop the back of the café while waiting for your meal or sit up front and enjoy the eclectic decor.
