We had an amazing experience at Trophy Paws. Theresa made my girlie look, smell, and feel so fresh! Usually aura is timid with new people, but she warmed up really nicely because of Theresa’s easy-going and gentle demeanor. Theresa listened to my requests for Aura’s appt and was fully present as I was speaking with her. She really takes the time to make sure your dog is comfortable and well taken care of. The post bath picture was the best part of my day and the summertime bandana and adorable little purple flower to match Aura’s collar were so generous and cute! Definitely going back to Theresa and Trophy Paws! 🥰

I found Theresa by pure luck a few years ago now! Theresa has been grooming Winston, our Portuguese Water Dog, for quite some time and we followed her from a prior location before she came to Trophy Paws because she was just too good to let someone else groom him. Theresa is AMAZING! Every visit she tells us how Winston’s doing, if she finds anything out of the ordinary on him that I maybe don’t always catch, which shows how much she genuinely cares. She’s always mindful of his allergies and sensitivities too, which makes us trust her with Winston that much more. Every time I open the door to pick Winston up, he’s made himself right at home with Theresa and the others and loves it. Theresa has dogs of her own, so she just gets it! Winston loves her like family!! Thank you Theresa and Trophy Paws for loving our boy! ❤️ You’re the best.

Finding the right groomer for a shy and anxious dog can be a challenge, but Skye at Trophy Paws has truly been a blessing for my goldendoodle, Bruno. From their very first meeting, I could tell there was something special about the way Skye interacted with him. Despite his initial nerves, Bruno quickly warmed up and now gets visibly excited whenever he knows he’s headed for a spa day with Skye. What reassures me most is seeing the genuine bond they share. I moved to Chicago almost a year ago. My dog was really needing to get groomed, so I scheduled her with a random groomer at Trophy Paws. A little while later, Skye called me and asked if she could groom her because she grooms lots of Samoyeds. She always does a wonderful job and has taught me a few things about taking care of Samoyed fur. I’m so thankful Skye called me and asked to groom her!

Attention Pet and Keeshond Dog Owners! If you want to get your money's worth from dog grooming, go see Theresa at Trophy Paws. Theresa started grooming our pups around 2020. We were new Chicago residents and finding a groomer who knows how to properly groom a Keeshond is never easy. I've followed Theresa all around this city ever since, due to her amazing work and service. A few important points: • If your groomer knows how to properly care for an undercoat, that's legit proof of prime grooming skills and experience. Theresa returns my dogs impeccably every single time after a bath. I'm actually amazed by how she manages to perfectly treat and brush every single area of their fur. •Not every groomer knows how to properly care for an undercoat. I've paid top $ for groomers who made our dogs look "superficially" fabulous. Looking closely, I've encountered the undercoat being even more matted and very often still wet. "Neglecting to groom a dog's undercoat can lead to serious problems, including matting, skin irritation, and even infections" •Besides leaving your dogs with a skilled groomer, it is as important to know your dogs are in good loving hands. Theresa doesn't only show professionalism, she is also loving, gentle and extremely patient with our dogs. Keeshond's can be needy, mischievous, and tend to have separation anxiety. I leave my babies at peace in her hands and our pups adore her. •Theresa's attention to detail is also another level. She keeps a close eye and notices when my dog's skin looks dry, a scratch, a scalp, even blackheads 😄. If you are searching for a killer experienced and loving groomer, Theresa is your girl.
