I had a couple issues with my order for a topper to place on the top of my arcade cabinet. I decided to fix these issues on my own because you cannot return or receive refunds for custom orders from Tulsa Arcades. 1) The base arrives as a wood base with a rough-cut edge that is painted with a black marker. This did not match the finish on my cabinet so I added a 3/4" vinyl edge banding. The arcade topper pictures on the Tulsa Arcade website show a printed plastic base but what you will receive is a sturdy wood base that is cut and painted with marker along the edges. For some cabinets the base is "hidden" from view when installed but for my Simpson 4 player cabinet, 1/4" of the base was showing and the painted finish was inconsistent with my cabinet as all edges on my cabinet have edge banding. 2) the angle supports for the top of the arcade cabinet will not match every angle of every arcade cabinet. For my simpsons 4 player cabinet, I had to use different angle supports that fit the proper angle as the ones purchased from Tulsa Arcades were not the correct angle.
I had Tulsa Arcade build a custom cabinet for me. Solid piece of craftsmanship. The system runs great and gives me access to just about anything I could want. Highly recommend using them if you want a custom arcade.
So lucky we reached out to JC at Tulsa Arcade… we’ve had this machine (Rastan) and a pinball machine in our family since we were kids over 30 years ago. I was back in town on a whim, and the whole family and the next generation of kids comes over to play. Rastan went down and was a huge upset due to it being a family tradition. JC introduced us to Sean who made it out and troubleshot on the same day!!! Luckily the main issue was a faulty joystick that we could Amazon and maybe still get a day or two to play. Well the joystick got back ordered and we thought, awe too bad. Sean found a spare and installed it on a SUNDAY!!!! The joystick’s responsiveness and action has not been this good in at least 5 years. Beyond impressed with JC and Sean at Tulsa Arcade!!!!!!!
Tulsa Arcades, I am extremely pleased with the Product, Customer Service and over all experience with the Owner. We had a little issue with the product being damaged by USPS, Tulsa guided me on the process to get it sorted out with them and quickly shipped me a new one. With out question. Extremely satisfied with the end result and will be a customer life. Thank you Tulsa Arcades!!!
Ordering process was easy. Top tier communication from the team, as in I was contacted within a couple of hours of placing the order to ensure that the order was legitimate and was what I actually wanted. Once confirmed, there was constant communication throughout the process to update current progress, explain next steps, and to also explain the packing and shipping process. This included photo updates along the way, including one to show the cabinet being loaded onto a trailer for shipping. Once the item was delivered, the team again reached out to ensure that there were no defects with the cabinet, and to field any questions that I may have had about the cabinet. The product that arrived was of solid construction. The kit/skin/covering looked good and was well placed. Everything was mounted well, and all in working order. It even came with some replacement parts, just in case. TL:DR - Highly recommended. The company is very knowledgeable, and does great work. Will order from them again down the road.
