Love this little antique shop! The owner, David, is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are fair. An excellent collection of goods and beautiful furniture. I recently was looking for antique light fixtures and they had plenty to choose from.
This store was on my bucket list of stores to visit in Edinburgh, and it did not disappoint. David has done a phenomenal job, not only in the selection of antique items, but in the way they are presented. His prices are reasonable and he even pointed me in the right direction for help with shipping an item back to the states. David was also very welcoming and knowledgeable about each of the items in the store. I will definitely add it to my list to come back here and pay David a visit, for some more treasurers, or just to say "hi." If you are from out of country (or live in Scotland), I would HIGHLY recommend visiting. It is worth the trip.
A true hidden gem for antique lovers! I visited Unicorn Antiques after reading several glowing reviews, and I’m happy to say it absolutely lived up to the hype. The shop is run by a wonderful lady who is not only incredibly kind but clearly passionate about what she does. The space is filled with a fascinating and eclectic mix of treasures, with something unique to discover in every corner. Downstairs, there’s a charming lower floor where you'll find a gentleman just as warm and welcoming, surrounded by even more beautiful, well-curated pieces. The entire atmosphere is relaxed, inviting, and perfect for those who enjoy a good browse through vintage and antique finds. Whether you're a seasoned collector or simply love the thrill of antique hunting, I would highly recommend stopping by. It's the kind of place where every visit feels like a new adventure.
We had a great time exploring this place and got a couple of great bits. The staff were very nice and made us feel very welcome. The shop it's self was full but very well organised as well.
Lovely shop, with tons of treasures and really friendly, helpful staff. The prices on some things can be high, but that's to be expected when you're after rare/gorgeous things. I found an antique tartan book and was thrilled. Definitely worth a stop.
