highly recommend VCA! My cat, Maleficent recently visited for an unexpected illness, and the care we received was truly exceptional. The entire team, especially the veterinary team, went above and beyond the call of duty. Specifically, Their dedication, expertise, and genuine compassion for Maleficent made a challenging time much easier. I felt completely confident in their hands and am so grateful for the outstanding service. Thank you, VCA!
We came in with our dog who had eaten a bunch of baked ham. We were stressed about what the ham could do to his gut and the risk of pancreatitis. All staff were helpful and compassionate. After examining our dog, the vet decided we didn’t need to induce vomiting, that our dog would be okay without the vomiting. They gave us instructions and sent us home. They didn’t charge us for anything, like the basic exam he had with them. Overall they were timely, kind, helpful. In the past we brought other dogs in and we’ve always had great experiences with them. We highly recommend them.
I brought my cat, Yukon Cornelius, here late last Sunday night with an emergency. They were able to take him back and treat him right away. The staff was so professional, so kind and caring, and really took the time to help me understand what was happening and what our treatment options were. I didn't feel pressured to pay for expensive treatment and surgery, but was presented honestly with my options and what it might cost. Dr. Lynch was amazing! She performed the surgery that night and provided me with updates afterwards and again before she left in the morning. He had to stay another night and I got multiple calls from the other doctors letting me know how he was. When I came to pick him up, the front desk staff and vet tech were very thorough about his aftercare and took the time to answer all my questions. I can't thank them enough for saving my lil' man and will recommend VCA to all my pet-owning friends and family. ***By the way, Yukon is doing so well! He was a little drug-drunk for the first day, but he is back to his goofy self and healing fast.
We came home a few weeks ago to find our 11 1/2 year old German Shepherd unable to get up. I called and asked what the wait time was and they said they based service on severity of condition. We were met at the door by two assistants with a gurney. They took her right back and by the time I parked the car and had the information filled out, Dr. Richter had already assessed her. The outcome was not as we would have hoped, but they dealt with her and us with such compassion and understanding. They gave us all the time and space we needed.
My family took our 16 year old beagle to cross the rainbow bridge today. They were kind and gentle with our dog and walked us through her final moments. They gave us all the time we needed before and after. This was the first for us and we’re content that our old girl got to go as peacefully as possible. Thank you VCA for doing this tough job, and thank you from our family. Lucy is free to run wild as she once did and thank you showing her kindness and love. She was a good girl and the best big sister to our other dogs. Until we all meet again sweet Lucy Magoo
