This place sucks!! Majority of our party spent time fixing there guns. Staff was horrible in compensating the time we wasted having to go back to the front to get C02 the kids felt rushed. Total waste of time. Staff is younger kids that don’t care to help… will never go back there again… we were suppose to have 4 games and they gave us 3. Total money grab. Experience was horrible. Don’t waste your time or money. Guns have more problems than a toxic relationship.

Visited Velocity to try paintball with my friends for the first time for my 18th birthday. We were all brand-new to the sport and our guide Alex was patient with us and also a great referee! From being attentive during our games to immediate call out when the president got shot in the "protect the president" mode of gameplay to refilling air during breaks, Alex made our first-time experience great.

A fun and learning experience. Huge spaces Many types of games. Speedball Elimination Capture the flag Bomb squad Trench And many more. You can bring your gear (facemask, marker, chest guard, etc, except paintballs). Paintballs MUST be purchased from Velocity. I don't know why but its the rule and we went by it. The staff were very helpful. They will walk you through A to Z. Short notes: Bring water. Closed toe shoes, running shoes, or tactical boots, or soccer shoes work too. Pants. Long sleeve shirts. You can wear a hat backwards with the face mask to protect your neck and back of the head. Easy air refill station after every 2 games. 1 bag of 500 PB is 21$. We got 4 bags (2000 Pballs) for 45$ . A good deal. Variety of rental options. You can get everything you need from the rental shop. All you need technically is clothes, shoes and water. Some people bring their own gear. Others rent.

Had some great refs here today! Alex and Sam were fantastic, clearly communicated the rules and kept the games moving. The process here is super simple and easy brought our chcurch youth group up here and had an amazing experience

As always, it's a great time. The only field in San Diego with multiple terrain from open fields to tree covered. Always a good time at Velocity paintball. The staff is professional, the players are good sports. The advanced players will help out the new people playing for the first time. They even have very well coordinated private party's.
