It was fun to visit and check out the history and atmosphere of the building. I think it’s a must to experience at least once without kids. While they do have two kid bowling ramps, four lanes had to share them, which made it pretty difficult to manage. The service was decent, but you could tell they were very busy, so it wasn’t the fastest. A heads-up on the food, it took about 40 minutes to come out, and a couple of the dishes were cold. We didn’t mention it at the time because it seemed like it would take too long to correct. The sodas tasted flat or off, and you’re not allowed to bring in your own water, even for little kids. We were also overcharged and didn’t notice until we got home. There’s no direct phone line, only email. When we went back in person, they confirmed the overcharge but told us we still had to email the manager for any refund. I’m hoping this gets resolved soon. Overall, I would return again for the experience and bowling, but I would skip ordering food and drinks next time.
Such a fun and cool vibe! The lanes themselves just give nostalgia, they also offer good options for food! The main level is wheelchair accessible, they also have ramps for wheelchairs to get on the lanes. There is a basement/downstairs with another bar and coin games, I don’t believe that’s accessible as I haven’t seen an elevator while there but I could be wrong. The bowling isn’t terribly priced but also not cheap, in my opinion. Fun experience!
Nice place, food is typical bar food. It's decent. It's only like 8-10 lanes.. The shoes run small. Also, they do not have automatic score keeping. You must keep your own score digitally.
What a fun time! Went in on a Saturday and had brunch. If you order off the brunch menu, it makes your bowling game (for each person that orders off the brunch menu) $5. Food was good. Pretty standard, nothing too over the top. Nicely stocked bar and very friendly staff. The history of the place is pretty cool too! 10/10 romper friendly restrooms. IYKYK! Definitely a must see for a historic Louisville spot.
It is an amazing place to have a small hangout with group of friends. It is my first time here and I loved the place. The food was good. There is ample space for dining. However, if you are going on a weekend, make sure you are in the waiting list for bowling. The bowling doesn’t have automatic score counting and you have to enter the number of pins each round manually. This place even has a basement full of activities including pool table and other arcade games along with a small stage performance setup. Overall I would rate it 4.5/5.
