This place is worth every penny!! Would go again especially for an anniversary. Josh was a great and had wonderful cocktail and dessert recommendations. Music was spot on and the dark romantic atmosphere was perfect for date night. A fun reason to get dressed up and go out. Also shout out to the doorman! He was a great way to start the experience!
This was the first time for us going to Vernon's speakeasy, as I've lived in this town for 6 years and have not gone there, yet they're only a mile and a half away from my house. I took this occasion for my significant others birthday as he's never been there to dine in. The entire experience was elevating! The staff.. absolutely astonishingly wonderful! Everyone was very attentive, the atmosphere and ambience was superb! Now on to the food.. my boyfriend got the elk filet and I got the salmon. The elk was seasoned in the most beautiful way and it was so tender that it was like butter! Every dish that we had from our appetizers, to the complimentary birthday cake which was carefully crafted and handmade by the pastry chef, absolutely incredible! Our taste buds were in heaven!! There was music being played live, and I really loved the door man! He was a hoot!
Love the asthtics and personality of the Restruant. Dimly lit with Red fabrics on black backgrounds, red woods , quiet but also lively. Privacy booths and rooms, even the regular seating is privacy oriented. Service at every stop, polite, professional, and wonderfully expedited. Knowledgeable staff with direct knowledge of each dish and scores and ratings. Its an experience of a lifetime Go try it !
I must say that by far, this was one of the best, dining experiences I've ever enjoyed. Jose, and other staff, provided and amazing experience. From the first but of my ribeye steak to the last sip of my smoked Old Fashioned cocktail, it was a phenomenal meal. I simply cannot recommend this place enough! I took my wife here for our 38th wedding anniversary and it was worth every penny.
This was one of the best dining experiences I have had in New Mexico! It was so fun to feel like we went back in time and were in our own private world. The food was incredible and our server/baker was amazing! She was attentive and helpful with choices and food allergies. I would highly recommend Vernon's delightful menu items, drinks and their impeccable staff! My friends and I chose to go in 20s dress which elevated the level of fun!
