Excellent food, great drinks! Everything is reasonably priced for midtown Manhattan. My friend and I walked in on a Thursday night without a reservation and got a spot at the bar. Great time! There is also a rooftop.
We went to Vida Verde to celebrate Christmas Eve with our family, and it was such a lovely experience. The food was absolutely delicious (tacos ❤️), with generous portions and beautifully balanced flavors. The cocktails were also excellent : fresh, well crafted, and perfect for the evening. Beyond the food, the atmosphere really stood out. The space is beautiful, warm, and inviting, with a great vibe. And the staff? Incredibly kind. A wonderful place to gather, celebrate, and enjoy a great meal together.
A high end contemporary atmosphere and the food was full of flavor. I like their salmon tacos and arrechera (skirt steak marinated in beer). The restaurant has a party vibe in the evening and a rooftop patio with taquila bar. The menu indicates options for vegan, gluten fee, and dairy free. Great drinks, cocktails, and service. They do have a dress code, so beware if you show up looking like riffraff.
Solid spot for cheap taco night and margarita pitchers! The drinks aren't as strong but they are cheap. The tacos are well flavored and spicy, but I've had better in the city. I recommend this place with a group for easy drinks and talking, but not necessarily date nights! Also it can get quite loud with the music.
This place was not what we expected, but in a good way. We went about 9pm, they had a live DJ. The upbeat party atmosphere was great. This did not detract from the bartender providing us with excellent service. We ordered the nachos and quesadilla. They were both absolutely fantastic. The tequila selection here was great and the bartender knew his stuff when it came to what tequila was what. We will definitely be returning here and I highly recommend you check it out as well!
