The guys at Viva welcomed our group of 8 in off the street after we got turned down at the lesser Italian place around the corner. Ends up it was meant to be. On what was otherwise a pretty quiet Tuesday night, within moments of sitting down they had two cheese pies on the table and were quickly getting our drink orders. Their friendliness throughout the evening really contributed to the already cheery dinner this group of friends was having. We finished it off with a group shot of limoncello. Many thanks - we look forward to coming back on our next visit to Leeds! Buon Natale!

Cosy place offering home comforting simple yet tasty Italian food. Super friendly service. When ordering the staff informed me the dishe I selected was non vegetarian and offered to make me another version without meat, it turned out to be super delicious.

Had the 3 courses for £24.95 which were delicious! Meatballs for my starter were amazing (could have done with some bread to mop up the sauce), salmon fillet for main and a tiramisu for pudding! Service was pretty good too and it felt quite homely and definitely not a fast paced chain restaurant.

Viva Restaurant in Leeds is a fantastic Italian spot! The food is very good, especially the pasta, which was cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The whole experience was really nice, from the quality of the dishes to the pleasant atmosphere. Definitely a great place if you’re craving delicious Italian food!

Lovely little Italian restaurant just off the main track. Very reasonably priced and serves authentic Italian food. We had a pizza bread starter, 2x white wine and 2x red wine. Mains were Lasagne and pesto pasta which doesn’t sound amazing but trust me it was super tasty. Chip were crunchy and cooked to perfection. Staff were excellent, even one of the owners came over and introduced himself which was lovely. Total bill was £85 and tipped to £100 as no service charge automatically added in which was refreshing. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 5*
