Great bookstore with an amazing selection of books across different genres. A perfect place to spend hours browsing. Highly recommend for any book lover.
Genuinely? I simply can't get enough of it, and each time I get here (it's right next to my uni, so basically multiple times a week) I discover new sections and collections I haven't seen before. An absolutely beautiful bookstore and a place to read and study. I love it.
♿ Today I bought a book for charity at Waterstones Gower Street. The bookstore is large, comfortable, and has a very complete collection — from novels and academic books to biographies and art titles. The place is accessible for wheelchair users. The main entrance is flat with no steps, so wheelchairs can enter easily. Inside, there is a lift to access other floors, and the aisles are wide, making it easy for wheelchair users to move around comfortably. The store is usually quite busy, especially during peak hours. There are several reading tables available for visitors who want to read or study inside the store, and the atmosphere feels calm and inspiring. --- ♿ Accessibility Checklist – Waterstones Gower Street ✅ Step-free entrance ✅ Lift available to upper floors ✅ Wide aisles for wheelchair maneuvering ✅ Reading tables accessible for wheelchair users ✅ Accessible checkout counter ⚠️ Can get crowded during peak hours, slightly harder to move around --- 💬 Note: Waterstones Gower Street is a spacious and well-stocked bookstore that is friendly for wheelchair users. It’s a great place to browse books, read, or simply enjoy the classic London bookstore atmosphere. #WheelchairAccessible #AccessibleLondon #InclusiveReading #AccessibleByWalkandSee
Easily my favourite bookstore. Five floors packed with every genre you could think of from art and travel to fiction and history and the list goes on… you get the jist. I could easily spend an entire day here (and did) just exploring through all the books. It’s the kind of place you’d happily get lost in.
This is by far the most beautiful Waterstones branch in London imo. It’s a 5-floor grade 2 building (amazing) and the collections are so wide. You can comfortably spend half of your day in this bookstore. There are places that you can pick a book and read on each floor. On the basement floor, there are second-hand books as well. And there is an outdoor seating area (very lovely!) in the backyard (you’ll see oh the way of going to toilet). Overall I love this place!
