Our family loves this office! The doctors, nurses, and staff are all so kind, patient, understanding, and helpful. The nurse line is amazing and they can always fit us in the same day for urgent illnesses. We have seen nearly every pediatrician, and have never had a bad experience. They genuinely care about our kids. We went to 2 other practices before switching here several years ago, and the difference is night and day. Our eldest used to hate going to the doctor and now she looks forward to it. I cannot recommend Western Michigan Pediatrics enough.

From day one, Dr. VanZee has provided our children with compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough care. She takes the time to listen to both parents and kids, answers every question thoughtfully, and always makes us feel heard and supported. Her calm and friendly manner instantly puts our child at ease, and we truly trust her judgment and expertise. The entire office staff is kind, efficient, and professional — from scheduling to check-in to follow-up care, the whole process is smooth and patient-focused. We feel incredibly lucky to have Dr. VanZee and the Western Michigan Pediatrics team caring for our children. Highly recommend to any family looking for a dedicated and outstanding pediatric practice!
They are very wonderful people. They treat you like family. I have been going here since my daughter was a baby and she is now 17(almost 18) i also have my 12 yr old son. They work very well with him. He is super shy and don’t like to communicate with people and they still do an amazing job with him! I would hands down recommend this place to anyone who needs amazing doctors! Also the waiting room is very warm and welcoming for all ages. They can get you in for a sick child asap! The nurses are always pleasant to work with and get right back to you about your sick child or prescriptions.
I started going to this practice after my son was born. I've since seen nearly every provider and have always had a good experience. We have managed to get in very promptly for sick appointments and the nursing triage line is helpful and quick to call back. All the providers at this practice are very personable and knowledgeable. When my son was a newborn and I was feeling stressed they really talked me off the edge when I needed it!
