I’ve been taking lessons for a few months and absolutely love it. The barn and everyone there are super welcoming and friendly. My instructor, Ryan, is patient, reassuring, and allows me to go at a pace I feel comfortable as a first timer. Overall would recommend for any beginners as well as experienced riders.
They take exceptional care of the horses and the property. The barn hands are very present, kind, and helpful to all. The trainers have so much heart for the horses on property and their students. I've learned so much from them already and look forward to our continued partnership.
I boarded with White Fences for three years before bringing my horse home. Hands down, this is the best facility I have had the privilege of staying at in my ten years of boarding horses. The men working on the farm every day treated my horse like their own. The trainers are all very kind and knowledgeable women who have excellent teaching styles. And the barn owner is always out there in the mornings riding her horses and training with the rest of us. I moved to Austin in 2022 and being at White Fences made the transition exceptionally easy. I was able to reserve a stall months prior to the move (for a reasonable price), and immediately had a barn family after the move when I knew nobody in the area. Five stars!
I have been riding here for about two months and have loved every moment it! The stable hands along with the boarders and other riders are so sweet, when I started here I was very nervous that I’d be judged for not riding very well and I’d be an outcast but that was the complete opposite! My fellow riders are so kind and even when I have a bad riding day I receive encouragement and compliments on my riding. I love working with Savanna along with all of the lesson horses and will forever cherish my time here!
My time at WF are some of the happiest days I've known! It has been my childhood dream come true. I was a complete novice when I arrived at the height of the pandemic. I found a kind welcoming community who were generous with their knowledge and care. I never once had to worry about my horse's wellbeing even when there were power outages and water shortages. This is also one of the only dressage barns in Austin. It is a slice of authentic Austin that is extremely rare these days. I visited a lot of places before landing here. They were an absolute no brainer. The property is stunning and constantly being improved. Silvia and the team go above and beyond for every level of rider and horse.
