When this place opened it was the best venue in Houston, by far. Now they've gotten too big for their britches and couldn't care less about the patron's concertgoing experience. Whenever they stopped taking cash, things went downhill real fast. A 30$ upstairs show on a Monday night actually costs $40 and you won't accept cash so I have to pay for all of Ticketmaster's bs fees? Thanks so much
Parking is a bit overpriced and limited. The staff is great tho they are attentive and friendly no mater the day or show. Small upstairs venue for intimate shows Larger downstairs venue. The outdoor venue i have mixed feeling about... They have an incline so you are able to see the stage even in the back but it does make it uncomfortable after a while to stand or difficult to maneuver the crowd on a packed show. The merch tent is pretty big and usually moves fast. They usually have bars on both ends outdoors so getting a drink should t take too long. My biggest complaint is the sound system. Outside and inside there seems to always be issues. I've been at shows where they have to take a complete break to figure out the issue.
Went to my first concert here and wow it did not disappoint! It’s very nice and open. You can sit on the grass on the hill and catch a nice breeze. ICP was surely the highlight of the night but the biggest highlight was my daughter and her boyfriend got engaged here so this place will forever hold a special place in my heart
Had a great time at the Rawayana concert. It was my first time in the lawn of this venue. I did not like how it was organized, a lot of people who purchased the VIP access and fast lane pass were not given any benefits. I did not purchase any of those and while I’m grateful I was at the front row of the concert I don’t think it’s fair to those who purchased certain benefits and did not get it. I talked to a girl who was in the VIP section and she told me it was not worth it and she shouldn’t have purchased those tickets. This was on the organizer, but I believe the venue should be also aware of this since the event is taking place here. Overall my experience was great but be aware of this if purchasing VIP tickets and fast lane access.
This has turned into one of my favorite venues in Houston over the past couple of years. Very clean and well set up place. They have three different concert areas, the main downstairs stage, the outdoor stage, and the upstairs room. I have seen concerts at all three and the upstairs room is very small and intimate. The outdoor lawn is big and open as is the inside stage. They definitely sell for max occupancy, but it is a concert, so you can't be upset when there are a ton of people. The only thing that could be a downside is the parking. The parking is pretty expensive and not the easiest to navigate, but it doesn't bother me as I have found nearby parking for free and walk to the venue, so much better.
