Very cute place! Organized and easy to maneuver for able bodied folks (not wheelchair friendly). Love that there’s a coffee shop on site. However, I was shocked to see how many racist relics were for sale pretty much every where you look. Lots of Asian, Native American, and Black minstrel items created through the white gaze. Not a place to score a deal, items are market rate or above.
Amazing queer friendly place. Never felt more at home at a vintage boutique. I will be coming back often!
We really had a Great experience at Wild Thing's Antiques in Fridley, Minnesota. We spent over 2 hours looking & selecting our favorite items. It's a Huge place that has much to see 👀 & offer! including a ☆Retro/☆/Vintage☆ Coffee Shop. Enjoy 😄 beverages & snacks plus Comfy Seating to hang out after shopping 🛍 & Enjoy the Show's. All are welcome. Inclusive - Safe Place GLBTQ Friendly Owned & Operated 🏳️🌈. We can wait to go back!!! Troy Stewart & Mark Timmers ♥️ Family
Super organized! Felt like a legit store. Didn't have to dig through stuff and not a bunch of tchotchkes. The aisles were nice and wide. I had no problem getting through even though I was using a walker. Owner greeted us, came around a couple of times to see if we needed help and to take our purchases to the counter so we could keep shopping. Not just because I had a walker either, I saw him do the same for every customer. Even if it was late on a Saturday evening, they were cheerful and friendly. Definitely going back again and again! Don't judge the place on my pictures lol. Just took them for a couple of things I wanted to go back for... If they're still there!
What an incredible place!! I just found out about this place last weekend, and I will be returning often. This is not set up like your average antique store. When you go to some places it is so crowded/cluttered it makes it hard to really get a good look at the items, but that is not the case here. Everything is displayed very well, and it seems like every time you turn around there is another room to explore. Each vendor has their own style in displaying their items, and it is all done very well. As an added bonus there is a coffee shop in here called The Clapping Monkey. I love coffee, and I love monkeys...so win-win!! On a personal note, I found (and bought) a ceramic tile here that I was pleasantly surprised to come across was that was from the company that my dads uncle Arthur Berggren had owned (he started it in 1948, and sold the company in 1986). This place is an absolute MUST stop!! There is so much here, there is not way you are going to leave empty handed. There is something here (if not many things) for everyone.
