Stopped by for a tasting and ended up getting a bottle of the viva sangria and the Albariño. I usually like sweet wines, but the ports were a little too sweet for me, but the Sunset red port was my favorite. It’s worth a trip out to try the sangrias and the white wines if you like those.

We seemed to have a much different experience than most at Wilhelm as we were definitely not impressed. The wines there seemed to all have a "port-like" flavor hints and in some cases tasted almost like they had actually began to turn. I took one of my glasses back to Karyl the owner and asked her if this was how it was supposed to taste and she insisted it was exactly how they intended. Anyways, seems like lots of great reviews for them, but I have to say at least for us it was disappointing. If you like ports or richer, fruitier wines this might be a good choice.

My husband and I did a wine tasting at this location and the owner was AMAZING. The property was gorgeous and the wines were very tasty. The one we especially liked was Arriba.

What a fun time we had at Wilhelm Family Vineyards, chatting with folks at the bar like we were all old friends! The wines are wonderful as is the winemaker. We especially loved Kevin’s Choice and the Orange Chocolate Port. Wow, just, wow.

Owners were so friendly! Wine tasting here is really a great deal because you have so much flexibility, and this winery has so many options. Beautiful building.
