nice nursery, but was nice before heritage nursery bought it so no need to compliment them on that front really and quality plants but prices are absolutely ludicrous. guess thats what you've got to do when you take over and now own two nurseries in town (heritage nursery) $120 for a small hydrangea for example and $1200 for a japanese maple. absurd! blind day robbery
I purchased a beautiful white concrete birdbath 6 months ago from Willow Park. I went back today to buy another after calling first. The ones on display were stained and cracked so i asked the lady behind the counter if i could have one of the three i could see behind the fence. She told me that they weren’t for sale and offered no further help. 6 months ago, when they were clearly more keen to make a sale, they bought me one from out the back because all the baths on display were cracked (probably the same ones). I have recently redone my garden and spent a LOT of money at both nurseries. She was unhelpful and disinterested. Not good enough. Photo of my original bird bath 😩
Priced themselves out of their corner of the market. The previous owner, as other older reviews have indicated was grumpy … but he was fair! The nursery was different to the other nurseries, his variety was different, his pricing was very reasonable and he valued return customers (he remembered us on our visits). We landscaped our entire house through this nursery. We spent a small fortune. We visited today and the new owners have improved the environment completely. It is now like all of the other high quality and expensive nurseries in Canberra. The point of difference has been lost! To be honest the prices are ludicrous! They have priced themselves out of the corner of the market this nursery used to dominate! I don’t think we will be back, not unless the prices reduce dramatically.
The plant nursery had a great range of garden plants. The parking was easy. There were hundreds of plants all helpfully placed in the appropriate categories. The staff were friendly and helpful. The condition of the plant I bought was excellent. This a great place to visit and to choose your plants.
A big nursery to visit to buy some out door or garden decoration. Some items are damaged but not a big deal as they put on discount. Nice fruit trees snd nice pot plants there.
