Just been to your stand at the Good food and wine show at the ICC Sydney . Waited about 5 minutes to be served while a lady in white pants ( was nearest to me so was waiting to get her attention) - as she laughed and chatted with a group of women- perfectly fine though extended as that meant I was just standing there. There was no one else in my side of that counter. When the group was leaving and she was standing there - still not looking my way ,I asked whether I should serve myself or wait to be served. A genuine question as there were bottles of wine on ice on the counter and 1 other group of customers chatting to the bartenders on my right. I had come into the venue literally 10 minutes earlier so was not sure of protocol at these events. The woman in question literally swung her head my way (acknowledging me for the first time. In the picture below , I was standing to the left of that bowl and she was where she is standing - she could not have missed seeing me this whole time) and went off at me saying- VERY LOUDLY that I would be charged a $5000 fine if I attempted to do that - making no move to attend to me even though the other customers had left. I was shocked at her tone and wasn't sure that she'd heard my question correctly so I explained that I had been standing there for a while so that was a genuine question on what to expect at that stand. She repeated herself and I said that I understood her but wanted to know the process, told me I had had too much to drink and that she would call security. I quietly informed that she was welcome to 👀, so she stormed off and came back with a security guard who repeated what the server had said 👀 and asked whether I had attempted to pour myself a drink. The woman server in question actually said no and I repied similarly. So what warranted the calling of security here 👀👀. I informed that there was no confrontation from my end and No was not drunk as the server was insinuating 👀, she was welcome to check my ticket as I'd only come into the venue 10 minutes before. A small crowd was forming at this time as something was obviously not right there. Bad bad look for your stand. I was with my young son this whole time, was being civil for his sake as well so this confrontation was completely unnecessary and distressing to my son. An older lady attempted to serve me during this time as she was caught between co worker loyalty and reading the situation and making a genuine apology about this incident but I declined the tastings. Completely horrid, unprofessional and unhinged behaviour by your staff..! To be fair the head of the security for the place walked up to me as he had watched some of the encounter,offered an apology and got his 2IC to take me elsewhere for a similar tasting. I am typing most of this 15 minutes after that encounter , I don't think a 'drunk' person would be this coherent. Do not put that service person again in front of customers. That was WILD..! People go to these events for the different experiences and to potentially make their next event purchases , not to get drunk.!! Offending woman in picture taken

I've really enjoyed being a member of wine selectors. I find the staff really helpful on the phone and the packages are really flexible. We've had some life things happen and had no problem putting memberships on pause and rejigging things to suit our needs. The wines are good value as well!
Always a treat to open my Wine Selectors box, a mix that excites and develops my wine knowledge per region. Delivery to VIC is prompt, packaging careful and communication friendly and helpful. Happy to recommend a quality service.
