We walked in here with zero expectations. I googled “wine near me” and saw this cute storefront. Jeff is incredible- his wine knowledge is way beyond Napa Cabs or basic Chardonnay. I could have stayed and talked to him all day- we’re only a few bottles into what I felt like was a personally curated selection and they’ve all been amazing. A really cool concept with the wine club traveling to different countries and pairing with recipes. The shop may look unassuming- the value is 1000% in Jeff. Oh, and say hi to Kevin. He’s the cutest guard dog ever.
We have been customers, and wine club members, of Wine Time for many years. If you are looking for great wines that aren't the same old selections you find in every package store and supermarket, this is the place to go. He also has a small selection of craft beers. The proprietor is very knowledgeable in all things wine and can make great suggestions based on your likes and dislikes. The wine club is great because we get a red and a white, each month, from a different location around the world. This month we are in Portugal. Each wine has a fact sheet with it and a recipe paired to it. We love every wine we get and the recipes are awesome as well! Very highly recommend this shop!
I'd say Jeff is doing everything right! Curating a good collection to appeal to a variety of palettes, tremendous customer service, and hunting for hidden gems in the wine world. Would highly recommend visiting!
Jeff is always so helpful in choosing wine for gifts. He gets to know his customers which helps that process. Winetime gift certificates are also great for gift giving.
WineTime is a wonderful small business with a thoughtful collection of high quality wines. I've had the pleasure of getting to know the owner Jeff by participating in his wine club. Each month the club provides two bottles of wine and Jeff shares his expertise about the grapes, the flavor profiles, and the region. You also get a couple of recipes to try alongside the wines. Jeff takes a genuine interest in the lives and well-being of his customers which makes his shop so welcoming and inviting. Sure you can purchase wine from many places around Fort Wayne but by shopping at WineTime you know you are getting high-quality wine with expert recommendations all while supporting a small business.
