We had a great time conquering the Temple room! My two sons (15 & 12) and I really enjoyed working together on this challenge and can't wait to come back and try another room.

Did not feel it was worth the price I paid. The website says to get there 15 min. early. Upon arrival it took a few minutes for someone to greet us. The neon sign was not turned on, so while I waited for someone to greet us, I flipped a switch nearby to see if it would turn on so we could take pictures with it while waiting for our host. As I flipped the switch the host came in and was like "oh Don't touch anything, I just got here, that's why stuff isn't bright yet" 😳 For the price I paid, I imagined they would be fully set up, waiting for us. So we waited for him in the lobby to get ready. We did the apocalypse room, very underwhelming. Mostly just lock combo boxes...a maze that didn't really serve a purpose. Also we turned the key at the end, then they provided a 'code' on the screen to exit. All of us tried it multiple times - just as it said. Even tried it backwards bc it wasn't working. Finally we thought maybe this is a trick and we are supposed to just exit. So we exited. He said we didn't technically escape, bc we didn't exit with the code he had provided on the screen🤔 He said he could 'hear' we weren't doing it right. It was strange...we got through the whole thing, turned the key, then couldn't exit with the code he provided. He kept telling us we didn't hit 'enter' I was like 'we did...as a matter of fact all of us tried just to make sure we were typing what was on the screen' He was insistant that we didn't. It was wierd🤔 We also were not offered the photo op at the end where people hold up the signs. We then got a text when we got home asking for a tip. That cash is preferred but we could do it electronically 🤯🤦♀️ Needless to say I would not recommend this place. We had fun being together, but look forward to exploring other options.

I took my friend on a double date here for her birthday. Our whole group is well-versed in escape rooms and this has by far been the worst experience we've had. We booked the Apocolypse room and were underwhelmed by quality and creativity of the room. The clues were weird and not very connected, so whenever we discovered a number combination, we had to guess or try it in all of the available locks. You get 3 free hints and are encouraged to pay $10 for unlimited clues which feels like a scam because we've never seen this done anywhere else before. Our Game Master was a trainee and did let us know that, so we gave her plenty of grace. However, when we asked for our second clue, she helped us through a puzzle we had already done and then gave us the answer, which was different from what we had gotten. The answer we got, we had already used on a lock successfully, so we were confused. We wasted a good 10 minutes trying to figure out the new answer she had given us only to find out after the game from a male employee that she had given us the wrong answer. Toward the end of our time, my friend had activated a light that we needed to discover another clue and right after that, the male employee stepped into the room to tell her how to activate the light, which she had already done. It was disruptive, confusing, and we ended up failing the room. I suggested to the male employee that they update their trainee on the incorrect clue she had given us and he basically said "well she's new so...". There was no apology for affecting our experience, no regard to our dissapointment, yet we were still encouraged to book again for 10% off. Needless to say, we won't be back. Right after we left this place, we ended up booking a room for the same night at Puzzle Effect in Clovis and had a 10/10 experience! We also solved that intermediate room in 28 minutes, so the fail at Xcape was definitely not due to our lack of skill, lol. I was going to request a refund at Xcape but didn't want to speak to the employees that helped us any further considering the way everything else had already been handled. Don't waste your time here, there are plenty of better options in town.

We did Apocalypse Room and it was awesome! You start off blindfolded adding to the atmosphere. Recommend it but only if have done escape rooms before.

Great customer service! The staff was friendly and quick, despite being the only one there at the time with a few other rooms going on. It was my second time visiting this Escape Room here in Fresno, and I participated with my father and his friend. We all had a blast (and escaped Murder 2.0 with minutes to spare!) I definitely recommend getting the unlimited clues, especially with some of the more difficult rooms. I think his name was Kris? Anyways, I will be coming back to try some more.
