01/07/2026: I’ve been to Yakuza House multiple times before and it has been an amazing experience every time. It’s the only sushi place in the GNO area I want to go to now. I went here for lunch today and had the below. The sushi was amazing. The yaki soba was good but not my favorite. Yaki soba w/ chicken: 4.5/5 Hotate (seared scallop nigiri): 5/5 Sake Toro (salmon belly nigiri): 5/5

Just had the best sushi in my life. Our server was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and kind. With a laid back atmosphere serving 5 star food and service. Sorry I can’t remember our server’s name and my boss paid so I don’t have the bill to see her name. But I suspect the entire staff is fantastic just from our experience with her. My boss told our server to let the chef pick our food and I can’t emphasize enough that everyone should do this. This should be your next stop for sushi. Have no idea why they are only rated at 4.7.

Wow! The service and the sushi 🍣 was superb. Every bite was an adventure and seriously delicious. Sitting at the sushi bar, watching the sushi being prepared was a feast for the eyes.

With the fish heavy menu I expected better quality fish. However, the dishes are presented and/or dressed beautifully. Decent prices, great bar, great vibe. Maybe a bit too much garnish, and wasabi on the peppered tuna 😅.

Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience here! We got the “hangry” set of hand rolls sliced and the peppered tuna sashimi. At the waitress’s recommendation we had the Mirror of Truth Sake. The food was delicious and fresh with great flavors. My favorite of the hand rolls was the scallop. The interior is cozy and comfortable, mostly booths and bar seating. I look forward to returning to try more food here.
