We’ve been coming here since May 2025 and I honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience. I love the authenticity and respect for the culture and discipline of Tae Kwon Do — you can tell this place truly honors the art and the sport. The Master and his wife are wonderful. They are patient, encouraging, and incredible role models. My son absolutely loves coming to class and is so proud to tell everyone that he does Tae Kwon Do. He truly looks up to his Master and even says he hopes to earn a black belt just like him one day — which says everything. I originally chose this school because of the great reviews and how reasonably priced it was for the amount of training time offered, and it has exceeded all expectations. This has been such a positive experience for my son both physically and mentally. I’m so grateful we found this place and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a great martial arts program for their child.
I’ve seen my grandson develop over the years. The Y J Im Tae Kwon Do Academy’s program focus on physical development and discipline have made him very confident. It has been a perfect gateway to other sports.
My children had a life changing experience with Grandmaster Im's taekwondo program!! It's not only about learning martial arts, but about being a good human. All my children received black belt and became very confident, positive and disciplined, and Grandmaster's children were always good examples for them. I feel grateful and blessed that we met Grandmaster Im!
My two daughters have been taking Taekwondo classes here for about five months, and it’s been an amazing experience for both of them! We absolutely love this Taekwondo class! The instructors are incredibly patient, encouraging, and professional. They do a fantastic job balancing discipline and fun, which keeps the kids motivated and excited to come back each week. My children have grown so much in confidence, focus, and physical fitness since starting. It’s amazing to see the progress—not just in skills, but also in character.
