LATE, NO-SHOW, BILLING DISCREPANCY, AND (ALLEGED) SECURITY CONCERN — 1★ EXPERIENCE I booked a deep clean for a 2 bed/2 bath, ~1060 sq ft home with You’ve Got Maids. I was told it would take 2–3 hours with 2–3 cleaners and include ceiling-to-floor cleaning (ceiling fans, dusting, hand-washed blinds, window rails, baseboards, and the inside of the oven, microwave, fridge, and freezer) in addition to standard surfaces. Visit #1: At the scheduled time they told me the team would be 15 minutes late; they actually arrived ~40 minutes late. After they left, I found obvious crumbs on the floor, dusty cabinets, the area behind my desktop untouched, and the oven, baseboards, blinds, and ceiling fans still dirty—clearly not deep-cleaned. Billing discrepancy: Before starting, the cleaner told us the fee would be $225 and we agreed. That night, I discovered my card was charged $250. No heads-up, no explanation. I called immediately. A staff member assured me they offer 100% satisfaction and would send a different team to fix what wasn’t done properly. I agreed to a follow-up a week later (I hired a cleaner for a reason on the original date, but I was flexible). Visit #2 (the “make it right”): At the scheduled start time, they messaged that they were running late—by roughly 2.5 hours. It was my day off, so I waited at home. When the new time came, no one showed and no one contacted me. About 40 minutes past the rescheduled time, I tried reaching the cleaner, the office, and the scheduler—no response. Only after I called again did I get a text saying someone named Amber should have reached out to reschedule for another day. Amber later called to apologize and cited internal issues (commercial job ran long, short-staffed, training new people, etc.). None of that explains a no-show with zero communication on a guaranteed re-clean. Serious (alleged) security concern: The day after the first visit, my husband’s credit cards (kept in his wallet at home) began showing fraudulent charges. Our banks flagged the activity and alerted us. We cannot prove a connection to You’ve Got Maids, but the timing and circumstances are concerning, as their staff were the only third parties with access to our home around that time. We immediately froze/replaced the cards and notified our banks. (Sharing this so others can secure valuables and monitor accounts.) Bottom line: Two different days wasted, late once and a no-show the second time, a price quote that didn’t match the charge, and the original “deep clean” left major items untouched. The experience felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. I cannot recommend this service.
We have been looking for a maid service for quite some time. You would think, with the myriad choices available, it would be an easy task. Alas, we were disappointed time and again. Finally stumbled across YGM and crossed our fingers. Honestly, this is the best maid service we have encountered. The crew was friendly, efficient and professional. They took their time with some stubborn areas, and wouldn't leave until everything was right. No, it's not the cheapest, but neither is it the most expensive. What it is, is a great value. Kudos to the staff and management. Don't change a thing.
Haley, Naveah and Stephanie did amazing job today. They paid attention to the details. All the places that bother me if not done. No streaks on the fridge, no dust on the surfaces, the toilets were spotless, beds made beautifully and professionally and even the kitchen counter doors were all clean and sparkly. I would recommend them for your home cleaning and I appreciate them so much
I highly recommend You’ve Got Maids for your home cleanings! From the clear communication at booking, to the prompt arrival time, to the spotless cleaning job they performed…I have no complaints! The team of 3 cleaned my 2450 sq foot house in 2 hours! They do offer a 24-hr guarantee to come back if they get any missed spots which means they truly want you to be happy with the end result. I will be using You’ve Got Maids for my regular and deep cleanings.
Just used this service for the first time. The girls were very professional and very nice. However, the overall finished product was a B- at best. They absolutely killed it in the kitchen. No complaints really there. The hardwoods had some spots on them and tape from my daughter. It wouldn’t have taken much effort to get that up but they were left behind along with a very noticeable film all over the floor. Upstairs the carpet was vacuumed up to about 90% with areas very noticeably either missed or left out. The bathrooms looked a lot better but the mirror cleaning stopped at the apparent height of the cleaner as the streaks on the mirrors left that evidence. Over all the cleaning was ok. I was quoted a range between 350 and 450. No surprise when they got here I was told it would be the 450 amount. Not to be that guy, but I would have given 250 tops for the clean I got. A nice thank you note and a spray bottle of something I am unsure what it is so I am afraid to use it but it was a nice gesture. I just wanna add that. I received a text after canceling an appointment with this company in which they suggested I use another company. Should their pricing be too high! I don’t know if I could think of a time where I’ve ever been personally offended by another company as I have by this one. I informed them that no way shape or form it the pricing however it was the quality of the first clean that has made the decision not to continue using their service. So for that reason, I will be adjusting my rating of this company to a one star maybe in the future they won’t be so quick to assume somebody can’t afford , their services
