I am not normally a big fan of massages, but my wife is - and we did a couples massage here. Very good and highly recommended. Staff is friendly.
I booked an appointment for 90 minute body+feet massage. Upon arriving I learned that if I pay in cash $120.00 however I do not carry cash so I was told there would be a $5 charge to use my card… okay cool. Unexpected, but cool. The pace of the message was great and the technique was cool, I am satisfied with the massage. HOWEVER, while being worked on 1) I could audibly hear every one of the workers loudly talking and laughing 2) yes mice were scurrying across the ceiling 3) my masseur took a phone call during the session. All to which I ignored. The final straw was as I was leaving I was prompted to leave a tip. In the middle of tipping the lady stops me and tries to guilt me into leave a larger tip. Will not be returning.
My back is permanently messed up. I had to walk 12 miles yesterday, and by 9 PM I was desperate for a massage. I found a place that was still open and booked a two-hour deep tissue session. I told the woman to go really hard, and she got all the knots out. It was amazing. I just wish I knew her name.
I’m so happy that I finally found an Asian massage parlor in DC!! I did a 60 minute deep tissue massage and felt amazing afterwards. I have a lot of knots in my back and shoulder contributing to chronic pain, but they did an amazing job breaking up the knots. The massage also came with hot stones which was a plus. Will definitely come here again.
Only pro was that the staff was very nice. The music kept skipping during the massage, my massage therapist kept answering the phone or stepping out to assist with other guests which made the experience disruptive, and the massage itself was not that relaxing due to lack of technique (in my opinon). I feel like I wasted my money.
