I went to the 24 Hour Fitness on Van Ness today and received OUTSTANDING customer service from Laura G. She was personable, patient and very helpful. She took her time showing me around the facility and went above and beyond to ensure I understood all of my options. Because of her quality customer service, I signed up for a year membership, well worth it for the value. As someone who works in sales, I know quality when I experience it, and Laura is an asset.
Thank you for your great service Laura you helped me and made my experience with 24 fitness a very good and easy to navigate opened my membership without me physically going to a location. Your patience and awesome vibe can potentially make me want yo get a personal trainer especially with the way you handle everything and suggestions. It was a great talk on the phone and will definitely stop by at Vann Ness location just to say thank you. People that can handle customer service the way did was a really great experience.
I visited this gym today and had a great first experience. CAM was incredibly welcoming and took the time to show me around—especially the strength/weight training area and the sauna/steam room. Everything felt clean, well-organized, and the overall vibe was really motivating. What I appreciated most was how patient and friendly he was, answering my questions and making me feel comfortable as a newcomer. I ended up signing up for a membership on the spot because the facility and the experience were that good. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for solid equipment, great amenities, and a genuinely friendly staff. Paola helped me a lot to get started with my fitness journey with 24 hours fitness. Update: 1st January 2016 Paola is very helpful. But the gym management is worst. My wallet was stolen the same day at the reception desk when I was doing my registration. Paola tried her best to escalate the issue to the management. But I notice there was hardly any effort from the management to catch the thief. They didn't provide the CCTV access yet. It's two days now. I had to call the police to file a complaint without the CCTV footage. I am disappointed. I lost my wallet, cash, credit and debit cards, my driver's licence and health card. I am from Canada and I am tourist here. Above all I lost my mental peace. And they are hardly worried or co-operating. They didn't even provided me any update after 2 Days. Don't go to this gym. It's not safe for people. Their CCTV cameras is to save the thief. Not to provide timely help to the victim. But again Paola helped me a lot to escalate the issue. But it's the management that are not doing their job efficiently. Sorry Paola, I had write this. Because I don't have any cash left and all the cards are lost.
After talking many times to the manager, this place is consistently dirty fungus on the walls on the floor mats dirt everywhere. They never clean it. They never steam clean it if the bathroom is dirty then everything else is dirty in this place germs everywhere it’s pretty gross. For years it’s been dirty. I don’t know how they manage this place. It looks like the tenderloin worse it’s already difficult enough, navigating San Francisco and all the dirt in the streets let alone all the dirt in the gym locker and the germs on the equipment which they never washed down with anything
