literally put the wrong sized tire on my car. I asked clearly and loud enough for an 225/ 40 R18. And as a girl I obviously don’t know too much about cars. But to risk the safety of my car AND possibly put my life in danger is RIDICULOUS AND OBSURD! How dare y’all do that? and yes, i will be returning and the tire WILL be replaced if not a refund MUST be issued.
Rude. Made it seem like I was trying to lie about sending my payment after I showed that I sent my payment. Used tires are not $30, also a lie. They are $55. Took 40 mins for two tires to be put on. Would not recommend, do not come here. I come here all the time but after this? I will not be returning. The new African American man employee should be fired.
Subject: Formal Complaint – Defective Tire, Vehicle Damage, and Dangerous Incident at Your Shop Dear 24 Hours Tire Houston Manager, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a serious incident that occurred at your shop located at 1415 S Loop W, Houston, TX 77054 on Saturday around 8 PM. 25 Oct 2025 That night, I came to your 24-hour tire shop because both of my 2 tires went flat. Your manager informed me that I must buy two new tires for $130 each, or two used tires for $55 each. I explained that one of my tires could be repaired and that I would purchase only one used tire. The manager became rude and refused to offer any discount. He charged me $55 for one used tire and $20 to repair the flat tire, totaling $75. He also refused my credit card payment, forcing me to withdraw cash from the ATM inside the shop to pay him $74 in total. After the repair, put patch in back tire he put one tire in right front I drove for only 15 minutes (around 5–6 miles) when the tire you installed burst suddenly. I immediately called your shop, and the manager told me to drive back. Despite the severe weather, tornado warnings, and heavy rain, I drove my car back to your shop on the damaged tire — a very dangerous situation that put my life at serious risk. When I reached your shop, the tire was completely destroyed and had damaged my brake system, including the brake booster, pipes, and oil lines. The manager admitted the brakes were not working but tried to blame me, saying I “hit something.” This is absolutely false — the tire you provided was defective and uninspected. I had to spend $650 immediately to get partial brake repairs, but my mechanic confirmed that the internal system is still damaged and will require major repairs. I have clear evidence, including pictures, videos, and recordings from your shop, showing your staff installing the defective tire and your manager’s behavior during the incident. This entire experience has caused me severe financial loss, property damage, emotional distress, and life-threatening risk due to your negligence and unprofessional conduct. Therefore, I am demanding compensation of $650 + my 2 days job absent as I'm uber driver $300 to cover my damages and losses. If I do not receive a satisfactory response or reimbursement within 7 days, I will take legal action and report this case to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection Division, and small claims court. Great little tire shop with affordable prices and knowledgeable mechanics! I came to get an alignment and the mechanic brought to my attention that I needed a new tire more than an alignment. Thankfully, the tire I needed felt affordable. This place is cash only, so please grab cash before you get your car serviced. They have an ATM, but it charges a $4 fee!
