I had gotten a tattoo here a year ago which was a really great experience, however recently I wanted to call and ask about piercing prices and jewelry that was a little more specific than what’s listed on their website, since it’s a bit too far for me drive and ask in person. The phone didn’t even ring, and every time I called their voicemail box was full so I was unable to leave a message. Overall a frustrating experience if you are trying to get ahold of someone for more information.
Would love to say this is a great place to get inked, but the hospitality is not great. As I write this, the fire alarm is going off for Centre Suites— the same building 444 is in (but their section in particular seems unaffected). It’s 16° outside, the ground is covered in slick ice and snow, and I had to evacuate my apartment with my kittens. I popped inside their building to see if we could just sit on the bench in the lobby by the door until we got the clear that it was safe to go back in so my cats wouldn’t freeze outside. I was even going to see if I could talk to an artist about getting a tattoo so we weren’t soliciting (I and my boyfriend have been tattooed here before and I love the work I’ve gotten done, and would have absolutely loved to get another piece). Without any sort of hospitality or explanation, the artist nearest to the lobby only had “You need to get out” to say. Safe to say, probably won’t be coming back here for a tattoo unless I book specifically with my previous artist (@NamiSanjoTattooArtist, who is lovely). Rude vibes from the guy who told me off— don’t look for hospitality from here. Would’ve been fine if he had been kind or given any sort of explanation.
I've gotten pierced by Lex a few times now and she's my girl from here on out for sure! She's the sweetest and everything is clean of course, her space is so welcoming and she was very helpful with deciding on placement!
Can’t recommend 444 more! Everyone is so helpful and friendly and all the artists are so talented! I’ve gotten all my tattoos here it’s for sure my #1 place!
Everyone is so friendly there! Such a welcoming and comfortable environment. Got my 3rd tattoo done from their valentines flash sale for $40 which was such a good price for how amazing and detailed the piece turned out. It only took about 2 hours in total to pick out the piece, wait, and get the tattoo done. I got my tattoo done by Ric, he was super chill and very passionate. I will definitely be coming back here to get my next tattoo!
