7DrumCity est un lieu d'événements et d'enseignement situé au 1506 North Capitol St NW, Washington, D.C. 20002. 7Drum is wonderful! We have been treated with warmth and professionalism. Winston is fantastic! He is a perfect fit for my kid. The 7Drum community, Winston’s encouragement and instruction, and the instrument itself have all been great for her self-esteem. We got her a drum kit, and she practices all the time now. We’re really happy to be part of it all and are so glad we found this place!
I had been interested in learning how to play the drums for some time and finally took it upon myself to just look up classes I could take. I found 7DrumCity and have done 2 classes so far (I plan to do monthly classes) and I really enjoy it. My instructor Winston is great and I look forward to going and try to keep practicing when I leave. Update: I still take classes on a monthly basis and even purchased a practice pad to use at home.
One of the best places on Earth. An absolutely irreplaceable watering hole for DC musicians. Since 2022, through Flashband, my friend group has literally doubled or tripled. I have entered a true capital C Community thanks to 7drum! A true gem! 💎
It’s hard finding a place to play the drums in a city, especially if you live in an apartment. 7drumcity is an awesome solution. You can book any of their rehearsal spaces online. Most rooms have a drum set (and cymbals!) as well as other instruments and they have rooms sized to fit everything between a solo practice or jamming with your entire band. I only wish they were open earlier on weekdays.
7DC is THE place to be if you’re a musician in the DMV. This space has it all: Ample rehearsal space, lessons with seasoned local musicians, open jam events, Flashband, and now full-on shows with the opening of The Pocket. Miles (the owner) has poured his time and energy into making 7DC one of the most welcoming environments in the local scene. You’re guaranteed to meet lots of really cool people no matter your reason for coming.
