A Godsend Roofing did a fantastic job answering a much needed call for a roof leak. Shawn and his guys were incredibly responsive. The job was done the same day it was assessed and the pricing was very fair. I would definitely recommend them for anyone in central Kentucky looking for an honest and efficient roofer.
A Godsend Roofing was great with communication. They provided a detailed estimate with no surprises. I was charged exactly what they quoted me. They were on time to get the job done when they said they would be here. They were efficient and courteous being careful to cover up landscaping. They did an excellent job with cleanup. This is a company you can trust to do a great job. Thank you for a beautiful new roof!
First of all, I apologize to the owner for the lateness of this review. He was very helpful to us in getting our roof done on rather short notice early in 2025. We had Allstate insurance, and after some repairs were done last fall and an assessment was done on storm damage, Allstate notified us that they were dropping our roof coverage altogether, and that we would no longer be insured until the roof was replaced. The folks at A Godsend Roofing came right out to do a prompt quote and install, and worked with me on the price because we were having to pay cash with no insurance reimbursement. (Thank you!) They were very responsive, the roof looks great, and we have not had any problems with it. If I had to be very picky, I would say that the downspout extensions on the gutters had not been riveted on after the new gutters were installed. There was also. one place where a shingle looked like it was sticking out a little bit, and when I called someone came right out and checked it. They said it was fine, but put some sealer around it just to be sure. My husband already had the tool for the rivets and fixed the downspout extensions. The owner also gave me recommendations for a new insurance, and we now have new insurance and a new roof and new gutters. I am pleased with both and the service we got from this company, and would recommend them. They are honest, hard-working, and care about their customers. I did not think so highly of some of the other roofing companies I consulted with before making a decision. We also have family member who was conned by a now infamous local company, so I think it's more important than ever to know who you're dealing with before you hand over your money.
We are blown away by A Godsend Roofing. We are unfortunately victims of the Lexington Blue fiasco. When I explained to Brad, a point person at AGR, that we had signed over $5,800 to Lexington Blue in September 2024 and then had zero work completed, he was more than sympathetic. He explained their process, including their incredibly rare and helpful in-house payment plans, and he sent me a quote within a day. We got quotes from two other companies, but AGR was the best price and also threw in significant upgrades for free. Within a week of agreeing to their contract, we HAVE A NEW ROOF. Unbelievable. Would recommend them to anyone.
We recently had our roof replaced after the last wind storm tore off several shingles. Brody was very nice and knowledgeable. He came out quickly and got us an estimate for repairs and replacement. We got on the schedule very quickly and had our new roof installed. He replaced any wood underneath that needed replacing and did a great job putting the gutters back up. The yard was also spotless afterwards. The overall cost was very reasonable also. This was a great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company. One week later, we had our other little city house roof evaluated. It also needed to be replaced so we had A Godsend Roofing do this job also. I really appreciated that they gave us honest feedback, which was evident when the roof was taken off. Some boards needed to be replaced and venting updated. Flashing also needed to be replaced. This company will give you a detailed list of what they are going to do and what it will cost. There aren't any surprises. They also came very quickly (the next day!) and early in the morning to get the roof replaced before the next big flooding rain storm. Once again, everything went smoothly. The old shingles were removed, boards replaced where needed, flashing and venting updated. The yard was cleaned up nicely afterwards. After two huge projects in one week, I would highly recommend A Godsend Roofing.
