The price was considerably higher than what had been suggested on the phone. Also I had two offers (yes, from legitimate electricians) already that were much more competitive. Based on shopping around, I feel a reasonable price would have been around $500, even that seemed genrerous considering not really a complicated job. With that said, all else was good, he was on time, courteous, and straight forward without any of the nonsense small talk that some techs like to use. I wanted to use himn but, price.

Dave was the technician who came out to my home. He showed up exactly on time, introduced himself professionally, and got right to diagnosing the issues. I had several electrical outlets and light switches that weren’t working properly, and a few circuits that kept tripping. He immediately started testing each one and tracing the problems back to the wiring itself. Dave didn’t just do a surface fix. He replaced multiple faulty switches and outlets, cleaned up some messy connections that were causing intermittent shorts, and upgraded sections of the line with proper 12-gauge wiring for the circuits that required it. He explained what was safe, what wasn’t, and why some of the older connections in the house were starting to fail. He was methodical, labeling things as he went so I’d know exactly what was done. The pricing was fair and transparent, and everything he installed came with a product warranty and a guarantee on the workmanship. What really stood out was how much care he took with the details. Every new switch and outlet was leveled, secured tightly, and tested multiple times before he closed everything up. He also checked the breaker panel to make sure the load matched the gauge of wiring used and tightened some loose connections that could have become serious problems later. When he was finished, the house not only worked better but felt safer. Dan followed up from the office to confirm everything went smoothly. The technician showed up as scheduled, installed upgraded circuit breakers for the 240 volt EV charger outlet. It works great, charged our Cadillac Optiq for the first time when we brought the car home. I would highly recommend the A Team Electricians. The had a very reasonable price.
