What a beautiful, beautiful space. Once you get past the location — with its unobstructed view under the Harbour Bridge and the cruise ships docked right behind the building — you find yourself captivated by the stunning art on display. The owner, Shazia, is also the lead artist, and her work is both colourful and emotive. I love her curation of artists and the overall atmosphere of the gallery. This gallery is a must-visit for anyone coming to Sydney.

I met Shazia, owner and artist at the gallery today. I had such a delightful experience. Warm, friendly and the artwork by the seven artists was stunning. My phone didn't do this picture justice, and it's just a postcard of the original, which has stolen my heart.
What a wonderful and amazing gallery! The space has a lovely bright and happy vibe. Artists are so warm and friendly - you get to meet them in-person when visiting the gallery. Whether you're going to purchase or just to view the fantastic artworks, they really go out of their way to make the experience a pleasant one! Such a lovely little gallery full of amazing original Australian art by local artists. The AAD Art Gallery is located in one of Sydney’s most historic streets in The Rocks and easy to find. There is parking close by or you can jump off the train, bus or light rail at Circular Quay and take the short walk over.
