I have been seeing a chiropractor for over 20 years in different capacities and I came across Acru without fully knowing what the practice even was. Via an event the gym I attend hosted , they got me in to the clinic for a physical therapy session using equipment called SoftWave. During the visit they offered a free initial chiropractic assessment. The assessment was not a standard offer but based on my testimony with the issues I had in my shoulders they asked if I would be open to it and I agreed. The first step was to take x-rays of my shoulders and neck which surprised me as I had never had a chiropractor do that in the past. The images did not show any clear sign for concern in my shoulders but a discovery was made that even to me, referencing a chart on the wall, was as clear as day. Turns out I had accelerated signs of arthritis in my neck which most likely had roots going back to my days of playing competitive soccer. From there we walked through a simple exercise showing the subluxations in my neck (points of unnatural immobility) and Dr. Norton proposed a complete visitation and health plan to get my necks posture back to a position of natural health. I was all in. In all the years I had been seeing a chiropractor I had never experienced the attention to detail and precision that Acru had demonstrated, bringing to light what even I could see as an obvious issue in my necks posture. Safe to say I was blown away and quickly reflected on years of seemingly minor issues in my body that could all have stemmed from a chronic misalignment in my neck, instated years ago. It’s been a few months since that first assessment and have continued to be impressed since. From their methods of adjustment to their incredibly accommodating and pleasant staff. Every touch point has been thought of and designed to make regular visits not only easy but really enjoyable. I was invited to a free dinner/seminar early in my treatment plan and learned about the thought process and mission statement driving the practice and it really resonated with me. I recognize there may be scepticism and disbelief surrounding chiropractic as a medicine and based on my years of past experience can understand the roots of those comments or positions. Acru however, has really broke the mold, pushed the formally accepted boundaries in the space and proven to me that chiropractic care is more than just a series of regular realignments with seemingly no results. They truly understand and believe in their purpose and have checks in place so that the results can speak for themselves. I never write reviews but I felt compelled in this case to do so, the whole team is really best in class and whatever the ailment you may be experiencing, I believe the work they do can have a positive impact.
Two words describe my experience at Acru Health. Life-changing. After living a lifetime with severe pain in my neck and shoulders I met the amazing, talented, welcoming team of Dr. Chris and Dr. Raf four years ago, along with the exceptional staff who answer every question and are always warm and welcoming. I can’t express enough, my gratitude to now be living my life without pain meds, headaches, fatigue and depression. Acru has expanded, and I hope they continue to do so, helping more people live their lives with less pain. I recommend Acru more than words can express. Truly, if you saw me before discovering Acru to how I live today, it's crazy wonderful. Acru is welcoming, caring, supportive and friendly from the minute you walk in the door. Their technique is revolutionary, unlike the forceful adjustments I’ve experienced early in my life, which never helped. This is such a great office. I discovered them through San Diego Networking Events a few months ago. I decided to give them a try as I have chronic back and neck pain. I am 4 months into my treatment and have noticed a significant drop in pain and an increase in mobility. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable and truly passionate about what they do as evidenced by their frequent outreach activities such as classes, and speaking events around town. I look forward to each of my sessions as I typically feel both a sense of relief as well as learn something relevant to my overall wellness. They thread the needle balancing the professionalism of a medical office, with the care and friendliness of a health club or a spa. If you are having back pain, or just concerned with your overall health, I highly recommend Acruhealth. Dr. Anthony has been my main provider and is second to none!
If you are in search of chiropractic care look no further. A wonderful experience in all aspects. Easy scheduling, friendly staff that always greets you, a phenomenal care team that’s as serious about your health as you are and the best part? Real results. Just a few weeks in to my care plan and I can genuinely notice an overall shift in multiple areas. Decreased pain and increased mobility in my spine and neck, overall increase in general mood, better and more restful sleep, and overall decrease in IBS related symptoms. It’s easy to give an amazing team like this 5 stars
Acru Health has been my home of chiropractic care for over 6 years. The doctors cared for me while pregnant, postpartum, and have been adjusting my daughter since she was born over 2.5 years ago. I had sever sciatic and neck pain before I started treatment, and have been kicking butt in the gym and life since. The staff and doctors are all amazing, and like family. I would 100% recommend.
