After interviewing four different landscape companies, my wife and I settled on Agape Lawn Company, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We opted for their annual plan, which conveniently covers all the services required to maintain a professionally landscaped home year-round. We recently had our four Crepe Myrtles and our Japanese Maple pruned. Michael Hoy’s crew members, Armando and Bravlio, did a marvelous and professional job. Their attention to detail and expertise really shine through in the final result. If you are looking for reliable, high-quality landscape maintenance, we highly recommend Michael and his team!
I do not often write negarive reviews, because I try to see the businesses point of view if things go wrong, but I have to write this review. We used Agape to install sod in 2022. They did a fantastic job and we were very happy. When we scheduled them to come aerate and seed last fall (2024) and they showed up weeks after we had asked for the service to be completed. We understood that maybe we got on the schedule late or that things ran over, so we let that go. (In the mean time, they do our weed and feed all year and have since the sod was laid - so we are a regular customer.) This year, we let them know early that we wanted aeration and seeding, but to please put us on the schedule for the very beginning of September. When they had not done the work by mid-September, I called and left a message. I got a return call and was told that they work would be done on September 30th. I let them know that we had asked for it do be done the first week of September and if there was any way to move it earlier, we would appreciate it, but that we would put down that they would come on September 30th. (This was all in an email as well. They sent me an email as a follow up to the phone call and I replied with what I told the scheduler.) Prior to the 30th, we cleaned the yard up really well, got the leaves and acorns off the lawn and had it ready for them. We have 5 large trees and and by mid-September leaves and acorns have begun falling. The scheduled date came and went with no work done. My husband emailed on October 3rd, when no one had showed up and we had not heard from anyone, and they said that they would be there early the following week and when they had not shown up by 5 pm yesterday (Tuesday), we emailed and cancelled the service. I understand things not going well one year, but for it to happen 2 years in a row, when we followed up 3 different times, was very dissapointing.
I just had my front lawn re-sodded with Fescue from Vandemark Farms. The installation was performed by Ignacio and Christopher. They were extremely well organized and meticulous as they removed the old grass remnants and laid down a new topsoil layer. This was the detailed part of the operation. Laying the sod turned out to be the easier part. They did an excellent clean up, leaving us with a truly good looking new lawn. I am extremely well pleased.
I have been in NC for eight years now. I’ve been through two other companies prior to Agape for lawn fertilizer maintenance with mixed results. I reached out to Agape and my lawn has never looked better. Great results, competitive pricing and great customer service. Thanks Agape!
Our yard has been a constant struggle since we moved in ~5 years ago—weeds, patchy grass in areas, etc. We've tried a couple of different companies, but weren't happy with the progress until we found Agape. The transformation has been incredible. What was once a mix of weeds and bare spots is now the best our yard has ever looked. It wasn’t an overnight fix, but their expertise and dedication has really paid off. Highly recommend!
