I’m so glad I chose to go to Aggie’s Sewing Shop for my dress alterations for my 2025 wedding dress. Aggie went above and beyond with her seamstress work. Also very reasonable prices for her beautiful work. I can’t wait to wear my wedding dress. Thank you for making me feel beautiful Aggie. Update: Our wedding date was June 7, 2025, and my dress was perfect. Aggie made the straps comfortable for my shoulders and shortened the dress to fit my height. She also added embroidered flowers using the extra fabric. It fit my body perfectly! My husband loved my dress so much. Thank you again, Aggie, for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day!
I called many shops in the area to ask who the best wedding seamstress was for a complex alteration job on my wedding dress I purchased out of state. Unanimously, people recommended Aggie. I brought Aggie a very complicated and intricate dress to be altered and I was blown away by her alterations. I needed the body to be shortened and the dress hemmed. The dress is heavily beaded and has a textured edge on the bottom. Aggie is a miracle worker- I have no idea how she was able to hem it and still keep that texture looking perfect. If you need bridal alterations and want the best, this is it. Not to mention, she is very patient, kind, and flexible. Cannot recommend enough. I’ll add pictures of her work later once the wedding is over.
Highly recommend!!! She altered my wedding dress for me, and my gosh she did an amazing job and made me feel so happy! We did a try on so I could show what needed to be done (needed to be hemmed, strapped shortened, slit fixed since there was a tear, and sleeves that my mom made for the dress put on), I put the dress on and she made me feel beautiful, we figured out what all needed done and I took the dress off. Then I realized I had another question about how the sleeves might look and instead of just rushing me or being annoyed she told me I can put my dress back on so she could show me and there wouldn’t be any confusion! I really appreciate that she didn’t rush me out the door and answered all my questions. Few weeks later my dress was finished and absolutely perfect! I was so happy with her work! And the price was perfect for me.
