Beautiful atmosphere. Professional staff. The food is some of the best I've had and I work in the fine dining industry. The veal ravioli... one of the best things I've EVER eaten in my life. The authenticity from the staff is genuine and sincere. Chef Alfio's vision is compassionate, unique and flavorful. I would highly recommend this place for foodies and wine connoisseurs. The sommelier was outstanding. I really could not speak highly enough of this place.
Alfio's is one of the best restaurants in Cincinnati. Incredible food and service, and I always love eating there. Our family tends to lean into the pastas a lot. My favorite is the wild mushroom ravioli, my wife loves the agnolotti, and my son always gets the short rib gnocchi. Recently, we've been getting the bread pudding for dessert, which takes a little extra time but is well worth it. The bar is very good. My wife says it's the best margarita in town, and my son and daughter like the cocktails. Service is top-notch. You feel attended to but not pressured.
Back Alfio's buon cibo I dined here for my fiance's birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish. I came in especially excited to try the desserts, but everything we had ended up being great. From the moment we sat down, we were greeted by the loveliest server. Unfortunately, I forgot her name, but she was upbeat, attentive, and genuinely kind. It's not every day you get service this good, and she really elevated the entire evening. We started with cocktails, I ordered one that was a blueberry lemon martini. I mentioned to her that I love sweet cocktails, and she assured me she could make it sweeter if I wanted. When she did, it was perfect! For our appetizer, we tried the empanadas. My favorites were the spinach & cheese and the pork, while my fiancé really enjoyed the beef since he doesn't eat pork. They were fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the meal. For entrées, I had the pistachio salmon, which I absolutely loved. My fiance ordered the duck breast with potatoes, but we didn't realize until it arrived that the dish actually included pork. He cannot eat pork at all, and although I felt embarrassed pointing it out, our server handled the situation with so much grace. She immediately offered to switch the dish, free of charge, and brought us the gnocchi with ribs instead. That turned out to be incredible, the ribs were tender and full of flavor, one of the best surprises of the night. Dessert was another highlight. They surprised us with a complimentary birthday cake, which tasted very much like a tres leches cake (even though this is an Italian/ Argentinian restaurant). It was delicious, moist, and full of flavor, so good that I also ordered the tiramisu to take home. The atmosphere was lively but comfortable. The restaurant was packed, yet it never felt overcrowded or uncomfortably loud. You could hear your table clearly, even with the buzz of conversations all around. Overall, this has become one of my new favorite
Spectacular! This was our first time here and we can for our anniversary. Devon our server recommended the Tasting menu so we took his suggestion and it did not disappoint. Everything was flavorful and extremely well done. The service was top notch as well. We highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
Delicious food and inviting atmosphere. We visited for a work celebration dinner, and our experience was great. The service was attentive, and the staff were incredibly kind. Be sure to check them out!
