We’ve having such a wonderful experience with Almaden School of Music & Art, especially with Ms. Olga Hanley as my kids’ piano teacher. Ms. Olga have been teaching my kids for over two years now. Ms. Olga strikes the perfect balance between patience and discipline. She is kind, encouraging, and incredibly patient, yet also firm and focused when it comes to technique and practice. This combination has been exactly what my kids needed to stay motivated, improve their skills, and truly understand the fundamentals of piano. We’re grateful for her dedication and teaching style, and it’s inspiring to see the progress my kids have made under her guidance. Highly recommend!
My son has been learning piano from Ms.Tetyana at the Almaden Music School for almost 4 years now. An excellent place for kids to take their first steps toward learning a musical instrument or improve upon their acquired skills. Ms. Tetyana has been a great teacher for my son. He loves going to his piano lessons and is always looking forward to the next piece or song that he has to learn. Overall this is a great place for kids to pursue art or music.
My son started learning guitar with Mr. Denis since last year. Mr. Denis is very easygoing and professional in teaching guitar. He helped my son build up music theory and guitar playing skill sets. Mr. Denis also listens to our thoughts and cooperates with our plan. For example, after we told him that we would like to take ABRSM Grade 3 exam, he added the practice of those exam songs in his teaching plan and helped my son pass the exam with merit. We like Mr. Denis’s guitar classes and really appreciate on his professional and support!
A comprehensive place where you can get quality music education for all ages. They have multiple instructors for piano, violin, flute, clarinet, drums, cello and saxophone. This place offers mostly Western classical music teaching although they do have some Indian style as well. I go there for violin lessons and have been impressed with the quality. They also have art classes and the whole place is decorated with art works of their students. It's a fairly huge place and had about 20 plus classrooms with comfortable ambience. It's located in the same lot as Costco and trader Joe's in Almaden valley on the corner of blossom Hill and Almaden expressway. This particular place is located in the same building as bed bath and beyond. You just need to get to the centre courtyard and it's located in the SE corner. They do offer trial lessons and sometimes discount them. So please make sure to ask. They go by monthly billing with no commitments.
