⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely AMAZING experience with Debbie! We had the best time on our tour with Debbie from American Ghost Adventures at the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora, Florida! What started as a regular tour turned into a two-hour private investigation of the inn, the gatehouse, and even the train station — which made the night feel extra special. Debbie is incredibly knowledgeable and such a great storyteller. She shared so much history about each building along with stories about former guests that gave us chills (the good kind!). You can tell she truly loves what she does, and her energy makes the whole experience even better. Even though we didn’t get much activity on the EMF readers, we DID make contact using mini Maglite flashlights — which was wild to witness in person. We also got to try her dowsing rods, which made us feel like real investigators. Debbie really lets you be hands-on, which made it way more immersive than just a walking tour. We had spirit communication in one of the suites across from the main inn, plus activity at the gatehouse and the train station — so the whole night felt active and exciting. Special thank you to “Mr. V”, one of the spirits we connected with in the suite — he played the alphabet game with us to let us know his name started with a V, which was such a cool and unforgettable moment! 10/10 would recommend. Debbie could seriously make a believer out of a non-believer! We’re already hoping to come back again soon. If you’re even a little curious about the paranormal, book with her — you won’t regret it!
An absolutely amazing time. The tour was packed not only with fascinating history but with laughter. Our guide, Beau, perfectly balanced spooky and silly, putting everyone at ease. You got the feeling that he really, truly loves Orlando, its history, and its people - living and dead. The interactive portions were fun even for a die-hard skeptic like myself. Every aspect felt personally tailored, not one-size-fits-all. My favorite Orlando experience, and that's saying something.
We went on the 2-hour investigation tour in Mt. Dora with American Ghost Adventures, and it was such a fun and fascinating experience! Our guide, Debbie, was amazing — knowledgeable, engaging, and made the whole tour exciting for everyone. It was my husband, our two kids, and me, and we all had a great time exploring the history and the haunted side of Mt. Dora. We loved getting to use the investigation equipment and hearing all the stories that brought the locations to life. Highly recommend this tour for families or anyone looking for a unique and memorable night out! Support local!
Had an incredible time with American Ghost Adventures! The tour was fun, wild, and full of fascinating history. Our guide, Maryanna (aka “Marinara”), was outstanding — super knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and kept everyone engaged the whole time. She really made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area or looking for something different and exciting to do!
We had an amazing time last night with Beau. His historical knowledge of the area coupled with the old stories of Orlando helped transport you back to a different time and place. The investigation aspect of our tour was very fun and informative, allowing everyone in our group to experience Orlando in a completely new light. Also, a huge thank you to Ting, the founder of AGA, for accommodating our group and making it a night we will never forget.
