Completely unacceptable treatment of my dog. He came home with a cut on his muzzle and reeked of urine. I was never notified of any issues with him until pickup when I was told that I would have to retrieve my own dog from the kennel. Upon entering, the kennel was incredibly loud and dirty. It’s no wonder my dog was stressed and uncomfortable staying there. When filing a complaint with the owner he was so apathetic and unapologetic I would never feel comfortable leaving a dog with them ever again.
My Husky spent a week here while we were on a family vacation. Staff is very friendly....the price was great and my dog came back super happy. Will definitely be using Amherst Boarding Kennel again and referring others here as well. Thank you for taking care of our big baby!!!
