ANG Pottery est un studio d'art et une boutique à Baltimore, situé au 1742 Eastern Ave Unit A, qui propose des cours de poterie pratiques. We did a couples class in September, and it was worth every penny. The instructor helped us every step of the way. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us absolutely newbies. We didn’t realize how long the full process takes- the instructor will glaze and create feet on your work, and she made a handle for my mug- and it took a couple months for that to be done. So, plan ahead if you want your work for gifts!
We took a couples pottery class with Christa in October to celebrate our 9th anniversary (traditional gift: pottery!). It was an absolute blast. Christa was knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly patient when things started going sideways with our beginners’ projects. We just picked up the four pieces we made that day and couldn’t be more in love. Highly recommend a class or gift certificate as a creative gift for a friend, family member, or partner!
Had a class here using a gift certificate and it was great. Solo time on the wheel was perfect for a beginner and my pieces turned out way better than I expected. I am waiting for them to be glazed and fired.
I bought this experience as a gift for my girlfriend and I. This money was soo well spent. Our instructor, Ellen, educated us on the whole process and made it so easy once we started. We had (mostly) free range to make what we wanted for the second piece, and Ellen helped us make our dreams into reality! I would consider going again, 100%.
My girlfriend and I did a Couples Class on Valentine's Day with Ellen and the experience at ANG Pottery was amazing! Ellen was extremely helpful and competent in her craft and sharing the "how to" with us. She was so patient and informative as well as easy to talk to and hands on with us. She cultivated a positive and fun environment for us to learn in. We absolutely loved the experience and can't wait to return to take another class! We hope to do the trimming and glazing classes next time as well to experience more that ANG and ceramics have to offer.
